For the umpteenth time, we would never trade for Siakam to begin with because any team he’s traded to is literally UNABLE to extend him per CBA rules re dates and what not. He is guaranteed to go to free agency so any team trading for him would be giving away assets for a half season rental. There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell MDJ would do that much less be allowed to do that (ie Lacob would never green light that).
Make Kerr play the guy more or trade him for a guy you’re willing to play more.

what you guys think of wendell carter jr for wiggs? The Magic aren’t really playing him and they don’t have athletic 2-way wings. Carter would give us a true C who is athletic and (theoretically shoot 3s / 35% last year).
edit: contracts don’t line up but obviously fillers would be thrown in. Feel like we’d have to give up Moody or a draft pick too.

Disagree with this – I’d gladly include Kuminga in a package for Siakam. The real concern is what else the Raptors would be looking for. Siakam is a hell of a player and would be a great fit with this team.

Good. it makes no sense for this team to trade Kuminga for a player like Siakam since that would barely improve the team and we are a long way from being championship. The only trades that make sense are to dump salary.
