The frustrating part is that those players/teams (Poole, Bucks, Heat, Pacers at IST, etc.) who we think “suck” and “ain’t scare us” randomly become an obstacle for the Celtics, outplay them, and sometimes achieves something before this Jays era team does.
Maybe it’s just that we fans are never scared of anyone and flex hard, but Celtics players didn’t necessarily perform well on brighter stages.
Hopefully this time they can escape freak injuries, avoid getting outplayed when it really matters, and hang banner 18 ☘

Unbelievable. We were winning with like 5 minutes left in game 4, up 2-1 in the series. I know Tatum wasn’t great, but if only we had current (or even last years version of) Derrick White instead of whatever version we had that season/those playoffs.
It’s so hard to win a Title. Since 09, I feel like we are being punished and forced to suffer because of how many easy ones we rolled off in the 60s. And it’s the opposite for the freaking Lakers

Since 2019, the Celtics have been no less that #3 in the EC… And each year since… With 3 different coaches and an O catering to 1 player… Couldn’t bring the chip…
That’s 3 coaches to the playoffs and an O scheme designated for 1… All support for that 1… And still no chip…
Maybe… Just maybe… The Celtics need to go the direction they appear to be heading on team play with team distribution of the ball to get 18…
Because believing he’s the 1 hasn’t gotten anyone anything…
