The graphs in each snapshot are plots of his PPP percentile relative to the league for each season.
Also FYI OffRebound means PPP off of offensive rebounds snagged by JK, ie basically a measure of his conversion of offensive rebounds into points.

So he isn’t progressing? Except in transition offence.
Wonder if he is contributing more to the offensive system and if his defence has changed
Passes the eye test, his bread and butter has always been ISO and post ups. He’s just now getting more minutes and is more involved/featured.

This looks like the profile of a guy who should be playing but also closing his mouth and trying to work in the lab a lot to get better

I assume these graphs DO take into account free throws but don’t take into account assists / outcomes where other warriors scored. Not that Kuminga is initiating offense a lot and then kicking out to open teammates or anything, but just pointing this out.
I’m a massive Kuminga fan but I admit he was playing terrible to start this year. Full season stats don’t matter for him, he’s a significantly better player now than at season tip off.
OP please pull these same stats for just the last 15 games
So there are some problems with these statistics.
1. We need to know the statistical significance of the total possessions. What is the average number of total possessions for a 4.
2. I am sensing that the numbers are heavily influenced on how the rest of the team is doing. Remember that JKs minutes were heavily protected/selective in his first year because the Warriors weren’t reliant on his production and likely put him in positions to succeed and garbage time where he could play with little to no restraint.
Last year the team struggled and were more reliant on him than year 1.
This year they are even more reliant on his performances as the team is even worse.
These stats are a good starting point but statically relevancy is needed because there’s a lot of statistical context that is missing. Hence the reason one could get a large variety of interpretations.
This is very misleading
This can be extremely misleading. JK has a very specific role on this team, and ultimately his progression will be governed by this.
