SE the schedule’s getting easier for the Chicago Bulls in the month of January those two things come in at around the same time how do you think this is going to help the Bulls and they’re hopeful at least for fans playoff run I mean listen I the the health is

Always going to make things easier just in the sense of there’s extra bodies for guys to be able to actually get some rest we got to a point where we were seeing guys play 40 minutes that we never thought we’d see play 40 minutes seeing Andre Drummond play 40 minutes

Was a big shock to most us out here we like whoa he’s he is running them when Billy normally would sit this dude down after 10 um but I think that it’s still it doesn’t change some of the people that I think will be gone so I think

That there’s still kind of that same aspect of okay what’s this team going to look like after trades are finally made but it does help you in the in the short run here for a little while until we do end up moving on from some people and

Adding people back in um because you allow you allow your players to feel more comfortable in the roles that they’re in I dumo seems to be a lot more comfortable Off the Bench his game also seems to improve when Alex Caruso was on the bench with him so I think that if

You’re able to move Zack LaVine back into the starting lineup if you’re able to move V of course into the starting lineup back into the starting lineup put drum back on the bench that’s just going to help some of the bench guys that maybe have struggled maybe Javon Carter

Or the corpse of Javon Carter that we’ve seen on the bench will come back to life um we haven’t seen him have a good game probably since he’s been here um ni he’s had a couple of them but it it you you see those guys who are kind of the the

Ancillary pieces on the bench now that were a lot more effective when you had better players standing next to them and so I think that it’s just it’s going to help this team in the long and in well in the short run here until you get you

Know figure out kind of what the trade pieces and different things are uh and it helps you win games now you should be able to beat Charlotte again tonight I mean like I said what do they do well nobody knows um and it it’ll help you moving forward with some of

These games where you’ve got a schedule that has opened up a lot and and it looks a lot easier for you outside of a couple of games here and there yeah I mean when it comes down to it like you want to be healthy regardless right and

I think that’s that’s the key thing you want to have all your guys there and with us playing differently as far as moving the ball around more um especially off that bench unit being able to strengthen that bench we had a deep bench to start the the season that

Was one of the things that we talked about even when the Bulls were struggling at the start of the Season that the bench was looking pretty solid so to be able to get back to having that deep bench because you look at Zack being back Vu possibly be back in the

Starting lineup in these games uh you’re now moving Alex Kus to the bench when he’s healthy right and so now that gives you a solid bench you thealis kuso Andre Drummond IOD dumu and then dalen Terry who’s actually giving the bull some pretty solid minutes there hasn’t been

Perfect no but he’s been playing pretty solidly for the team and so you know do we still lack size areas yeah I mean it’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but when you go from being a team that’s been you know seven players deep seven eight players deep to

Being eight or nine players deep that really does help especially in some of the games where you are facing a better competition or even in the games where you’re fac facing the Leer competition let’s let those bench players play a couple extra minutes where you let letting your starter sit down some so

And and I think that’s the other point too right it allows you to develop more young players in that situation in in places where you know maybe they feel a little bit more comfortable when Julian Phillips was able to get in with that backup unit you know there was still the

Iio dumus the Alex Caruso still working with him and so it’s not all on him to go out there and actually have to be like listen figure it out here comes your time he like oh okay I gotta be I got to defend LeBron in my first game

This is fun you know I mean like it it it allows you to kind of EAS these young guys in and I think and with with what we’ve seen from this team even even the utilization of Terry Taylor to me right like it lets you put them in positions

That to me they feel more comfortable in Terry Taylor at the four versus Terry Taylor at the five I can live with Terry Taylor at the four right I’ve seen Javon Carter at the four or not Javon Carter uh um Javonte green at the four too many

Javon on this thing I’ve seen Javonte green at the four right it can that can work if you if you’ve got enough hustle enough eny energy you got enough bounce Terry Taylor has all those things I can live with that Terry Taylor at the five

Trying to guard your L&B I don’t want to see that I mean like it allows these guys to actually play play a position where uh their skill set actually can be accentuated a lot more and I think the the biggest thing that the Bulls have to

Kind of figure out now is just where does everybody fit back in and are they going to be able to go back into that role as easily as you took them out of it because we had like you said dalen Terry has had an expanded Ro Ro what is

His role going to be now with guys getting healthier does he just go back and and there’s going to be some guys Terry Taylor may be a casual at this some dudes just not gonna play no more yeah Javon Carter hopefully you said who hopefully Javon Carter it’s probably not

Like I don’t know what this love is for a lineup that’s not tall enough to get out there and actually attack but I would really love for a lineup to be very much like what the Pacers have built like I looked at that Pacers lineup and I was like they have Obi

Toppen which is supposed to be P will for us um what’s the other young they got Miles Turner and then what’s the what’s the power forward the young dude today got is it Jaylen Smith um all three three of those guys are 68 and up athletic and can run the floor like

That’s what you build a team with I don’t know where this notion like just because Golden State had their run like all of a sudden people were like tall people in basketball don’t matter it’s a 10 foot tall Rim the goal is to put the
