The new face of the Rockets, what a steal they got with Sengun! He has the talent, the right coach and the motivation, I foresee good things for this young man.
I have to give all the credit to Udoka for making Sengun shine. As a Miami Heat fan, I can't help but wish Coach Spo had a similar approach to developing Yurtseven. He had an impressive stretch when Bam was injured a couple of seasons ago, but Spo seemed to shut down his development and motivation afterwards. It was frustrating to see him not even used as a backup center when Bam returned, with Dedmon getting the minutes instead. Yurtseven hasn't regained that momentum, and it's a real head-scratcher for Heat fans, especially considering our need for a reliable center. All the more credit to Udoka, then, for what he's doing with Sengun!
