So basically the Kings have been wasting everyone’s time
No Keegan is wasting the Raptors FO’s time
No max is insulting to Siakam
Them not wanting to offer Siakam a max makes this absolute delusion. So you want an all-NBA forward in his prime, but you don’t want to pay him the max, and you don’t want to send out any real quality asset in a trade for him.
Sounds almost like, the Kings don’t really want Siakam

I don’t even get this keegan murray’s untouchable nonsense. He’s turning 24 and is an average athlete, scoring 15 pts on average efficiency. His ceiling is Middleton with less shot creation. No great prize, imo.
Typically guys like Siakam would have his trade destinations out in public right now.
The fact that it has not happened yet means that he does not have a destination in mind. He’s looking for max dollars.
I’m speculating here but it’s starting to sound like no team has offered or guaranteed him the max upon resigning.
