[Lowe] “Is Ham putting plays on the clipboard? I think that might be part of the issue why their offense stinks. It just seems random and haphazard way too often. Even a lot of their set pieces I really loved last year (AD off a pindown left corner), I feel like I haven’t seen that play in 2 weeks.”

Although I think that’s a valid point, having Mcmenamin on to talk about X and O’s is pretty futile and he’s just going to agree with whatever Lowe says. Zach was also going on about how AD isn’t a good jump shooter which has been true the past couple seasons but he’s been shooting at a much better clip this year. Which kind of makes his point even more valid.

  2. Just go on Cranjis Twitter he’ll tell you how often they’ve run plays or haven’t. The points per possession, best lineup that night, and the names of the sets and alignments.

If you want X/O’s on the Lakers nobody beats Cranjis. He is basically a Human AI that breaks down the Lakers game plan all the way down to who sat where on the bench.

Isn’t there literally a stat for what percent of a teams’ possessions are organized plays? iirc ours has been fairly low all seasonb

They have some of the worst spacing in the entire league outside of a few really awful teams. Last in 3pt attempts and almost last in 3pt% you would think that less attempts would at least mean higher quality looks but they just don’t make them. You can’t really have a good offense now if you can’t shoot a bunch of 3s and knock them down at decent rate.

The most obvious and simple solution for this entire saga is for Darvin Ham to sign with Klutch Sports.
