That’s the position we could least afford this, with Koloko’s status still unknown and it seemingly increasingly likely he’ll be out for the rest of the season. Gonna guess we sign some 10 days to tide us over. Also wonder if we’ll apply for a DPE for Koloko (although his salary is so small it might not even do anything for us lol)
Also guessing Scottie will be starting at C for a bit.

Roll with Scottie at C and some Porter mins. This is where Scottie’s versatility has to shine at some point in his career. Guarding PGs is asking a bit much, but guarding bigs at times is a better look IMO. Should help bring AD out of the paint as well. Let’s see

TOR – Richaun Holmes, our 2025 2nd back, and a 2028 Heat 2nd
MAVS – Thad, and OPJ
Gets the Mavs off of Holmes contract next year and it gives the Raptors a stop gap competent backup C, 2 2nds, and it gives the Raptors an expring contract for other moves in the summer and up to next year’s deadline
Unless Koloko is close to a return our they’re going to give Jontay a shot, this deal wouldn’t be terrible
