I really felt comfortable with that closing lineup, you can see the all played really smart, some crazy contested three’s went down for Toronto.

I don’t know if max is completely ready to start because I don’t want too much pressure on him, but man he’s making a case for himself for sure.

I don’t trust this every other advanced stat says that Reaves lineups are bad.

I don’t know if Max is mentally ready to start but he should be getting way more minutes at the 2. He’s a solid two way player already and he’s very likely to improve if given more reps with the big dogs

Christie might end up starting if Cam is out for concussion protocols.

    My two concerns are:

Max isn’t as versatile a defender as Cam/Vando. Max is only defending 1-2, maybe guards that are played at the 3. Scottie Barnes bodied and jammed on Christie’s head yesterday like Max wasn’t even there.

Max permanently starting means Cam/Vando minutes will overlap which is horrible for spacing. Cam still deserves minutes, the man was 4/6 from 3pters last night and nobody gives him credit for the effect he has on defense, ie: locking down Harden two games ago.

I actually believe Max will take over the starting 2 spot eventually, I just think it’s more important he close games and bump his minutes atm rather than worry about who’s starting.

Max deserves 15-25 min a game depending on the matchup and how he’s playing.

He’s a legit 3 and D and the more we develop him now the better for the playoffs.

  6. Nice, but dude, put two spaces at the end of each line so it looks like this:

    +21.4: Reaves | Christie | Prince | Bron | AD
    +17.6: DLo | Christie | Prince | Bron | AD
    +15.0: Reaves | Reddish | Prince | Bron | AD
    -3.98: DLo | Reddish | Prince | Bron | AD

We need to see what Max can do now. In theory him and Reaves are a great backcourt for AD and LeBron. Reaves makes up for Max’s lack of playmaking and Max adds the speed and athleticism that Reaves doesn’t have. Together, in theory, they would be a big backcourt with great shooting.

But if we just never play Max or bench him after every mistake we will never know and we need to know now so we can figure out if we need to trade or not.

The best case scenario is Max can be a solid 3&D guard in the starting lineup and then we can use something like D’Lo/Rui/Gabe/JHS to take on Jarami Grant and Brogdon from the Blazers.

    AD/LeBron/Grant/Christie/Reaves

    Wood/Vanderbilt/Prince/Reddish/Brogdon

    Very long and great shooting.

Don’t think that Max is ready to start full time but occasionally yes. Give him more minutes tho

  9. would really like dlo max prince bron ad to start with max off the bench to close

Were still bringing up +/-, coaching staff, and various other things to cope on the roster being mid 40 games into the season. There’s no magic bullet to fixing it at this point unless the refs keep helping us win games like last night.

If you replace Prince with Rui and Rui’s not injured and ready to go yall think itd be better?
