Omg. My over 211.5 hit. Thank you nets for not giving up!

  2. __raspberry__pi

At least this loss did not feel as bad. I thought we would lose by 20+ points.

  3. Kwilly462

I want an investigation immediately. An investigation on what happened with this team on that West Coast trip. Ever since then, we have been just pure and utter garbage.

At least before that West trip, when we lost, the games were usually super close. There was heart, there was still talent on the floor.

And I’m no longer calling this a slump. What we were doing the beginning of this season was a happy accident. This is who we really are. Thank God this is a gap year.

  4. _Strategos_

This trade period cannot come any faster.

  5. Minnamaker

Bad start, promising finish. At least they fought. I think they found a good lineup in CT, DSJ, Bridges, Walker and Clax. Switch DSJ for DFS against bigger teams maybe. They played hard and fast. Good potential defensively and offensively.

And man CT was way better in defense, playmaking and rebounds today. Way to Go CT

  6. LeadershipInfinite46

Dinwiddie, dfs, o’neale, should absolutely be moved right after they land in Brooklyn. No reasons for those players to be on the roster. They are slow, play with bad pace and are pieces on teams that are contending. Cam Johnson should also be moved for the right price. He’s a mediocre player that would fit well on a team that doesn’t force him to create.

And I can’t emphasize this enough, TRADE FOR DEJOUNTE MURRAY. This team looks VASTLY BETTER on offense with a competent point gaurd that is capable of creating for others and themselves. Dennis smith Jr. isn’t even good and he still makes the nets look vastly better on offense. Give them Finney Smith, expiring Dinwiddie and a pick.

  7. NatiHanson

I knew that comeback was fake. You should know what to expect with this team.

  8. UnitedStateOfDenmark

I kind of wish the Nets didn’t comeback and were completely embarrassed. There’s going to be talk by the Nets that they saw some progress in the second half and are going to build off it.

There’s nothing to build off. Accept we are a poorly constructed team and make changes to the roster, whatever that may be. We’re in the worst position I can remember. A team that is trying to be in a holding pattern, so we won’t give up better picks to Houston and still somehow going to be one of the bottom 6 teams in the league.

  9. At this point if the Nets front office strategy was to boost the value of the vets by playing them, it’s not going to work cause their value is only going to get lower.

  10. aSithLawd_GME

That JV extension last year looks worse by the day.

  11. Is Dinwiddie sick? Don’t want to get my hopes up that JV has finally caught on

  12. ipwnnoob

Embarrassing product to force those poor fans in attendance to watch.

  13. KingofthisShit

Trade Spence, DFS, and Royce. Save Vaughn from himself, Wilson and Watford have more than earned some minutes.

  14. CommunicationNext835

Nets picked it up in the 2nd half, especially the 4th quarter, but it was to little to late to make the comeback. We might be able to beat the Trail Blazers on Wednesday, but even then, they beat us last time on our home floor. Other than that, the other teams we face are much better than us.

  15. RevolutionaryClass15

At least JV stumbled upon a line up that worked towards the end but the front office can’t ignore how poor this team has been recently and I just hope they’re playing hard ball with trades because if it’s a choice to stick with this roster it’s going to be a painful few years

  16. birdentap

Damn all 5 starters in the minus except clax

  17. Jacque Vaughn, it’s time to be a full time public speaker

  18. Dinwiddie and Royce need to get traded at this point. Trade them for a point guard like Dejounte Murray. Extend Walker, DSJ, and Watford if you can.

  19. birdentap

I don’t think we need to build AROUND any one player rignt now be it Cam or Mikal.

Marks needs to trade some wings and picks for a real deal guard.

  20. Just let lonnie and dsj cook. Ct got same stats basically as bridges off the bench. Starters cant keep being outplayed by the bench players. Lonnie needs to start.

  21. mweint18

Cam Johnson is awful. We shouldve let Detroit get their guy last summer.

  22. JohnFish2734

I feel like it’s good number of games to switch up the lineup. Either Dinwiddie or CJ need to get out for CT. Before ppl say we wont have a PG in that lineup or out defense will be bad, it’s already bad so why not switch it up and see what happens.

  23. WayofHatuey

I’m not attached to any player. We should’ve traded DFS, Royce, Spence, even Bridges when teams were willing to throw in multiple firsts.

  24. SuitOk7237

I did not expect this Nets team to be good. Thought they’d win under 37.5 games (their O/U), so I expected losses. This isn’t about losing. This isn’t on the players. This is about a team that is not prepared. It’s a team whose players are not in position to succeed. Unacceptable

  25. Surfif456

This game shows that while we aren’t contenders, we aren’t that bad. We are just not playing our best players.

Din, CJ, and DFS suck. They can’t create easy offense, all they do is chuck contested 3s and pray that they go in. They cannot exploit mismatches because they cannot dribble or score.

When we had CT, Lonnie, Bridges and Watford, suddenly there was fireworks because these guys can put pressure on the rim and get easy baskets and there wasn’t any place for the defense to hide their bad defenders.

  26. Ok-Platform-7719

Sell at the deadline. Sell, sell, sell

  27. longPAAS

Meh, I enjoyed it. As much as someone rooting for the loser can.

  28. richonarampage

I see that only 2.5 dudes showed up. Mikal had a super slow start. Everybody jet lagged or something? Sheesh.

  29. longPAAS

Bridges is great and he will be amazing on a team that needs their 2/3rd best player. So the question is getting max value in return. The point being: just saying “trade him for picks” is dumb. We need someone in return that keeps us at least level with where we are (we lose production at his position, but we get an upgrade at another spot), AND that option (the pick(s))

  30. nuk3mhigh

At least Paris got to see Lonnie Walker IV

  31. JurgenFlippers

I think the 4th showed how we should play going forward. Mikal is awesome love him. But when you have a lineup with multiple ball handlers that is what unlocks him as a player.

Cam, Lonnie, DSJ, etc.. should be heavy rotation players.

IMO we should start Cam over Dinwiddie.

    Cam, Bridges, Johnson, DFS, Claxton.

Dinwiddie, Lonnie first off the bench and they should replace DFS or Jonhson.

We are not a good enough team to have Mikal initiating so much offense.

  32. BushidoBrowneII

This team is not fun AT ALL to watch rn

We should be winning certain games but it’s just stupid schemes that are fucking shit up.

There’s 0 reason why our defense should be this bad. It’s the way we defend that’s fucking us up.
