Lamelo being 8th on the East is almost as bad as Ant being behind Kyrie and Harden. Lamelo has barely played.

Craziest thing on here is that Durant has like 10x as many votes as Booker.

I’m gonna be so annoyed if a bunch of play-in players are voted onto the West All-Star team over our guys. At the very least, Ant should be starting, and KAT should be on the team.

I will probably get downvoted, but that’s the explanation why fan voting does not matter for Ant and KAT.

Fan voting is for starters. Even if every single person on the planet votes for Ant, players and media still have 50% of the votes. There are 2 backcourt spots. They will choose Luka and either Steph or Shai. Same about KAT, they will choose Lebron, Jokic, and Durant/AD. However, it’s a nice thing to see the recognition that Ant gets. Coaches vote for reserves, and he will 99% make it as a backup. If there are any injuries, KAT and Rudy might get in as well. Coaches typically value players differently than the fans, that’s why guys like Holiday or JJJ make it over more flashy names.

Ant starting would be awesome, but as long as Ant/KAT are in that’s all I care about

We should draft one Chinese guy at some point and watch the benefits of their all star votes come rolling in for eternity. Only explanation for Sengun being so high.

Fan voting is so awful. It’s 80% a popularity contest and 20% at best about the actual year the player is having.
