I’d do that OKC one today, would definitely consider the Detroit one, yes please to the Brooklyn one, HELL YES to the Indiana one.
Dallas and Golden State can kick rocks.
Nutheadshellcase
I’d take that Indiana one and run.
YogurtResponsible785
I would do any of those except Warriors.
The Nets deal would be an absolute heist.
afropoppa
I would do any of these quite frankly
EarlofSlammwich
If Claxton is available it’s almost a no brainer. He’s one of the best young centers in the NBA and unlikely to be available.
Denisaur9
I’d do warriors one as well, Young forward who’s younger then some first rounders this year, 2 first rounders and cap flexibility.
eLevateAFFN
Go be honest. These are all pretty good especially if there’s not certainty we keep him.
OKC and Indianna are no brainers. The Brooklyn one as well but I don’t see them doing it. I also like the Dallas one bc it gives us significant depth, spacing and 2 young players to work on.
I just don’t know if we’re getting these levels of offers yet.
Raptorsthrowaway1
Important to note that the author also follows up these proposals with a counter offer as these offers are all too rich
For example, they position that “ I would be shocked if Indiana agreed to pay this high a price for Siakam”. That they would be likely to offer a 2024 first, Bruce Brown and Obi
Huge-Split6250
If these deals are considered equivalent, then Kuminga must be a superstar
Key-Profit9032
Indiana for sure
gregbraaa
I would acquire Nic Claxton at all costs
bustthelease
OKC trade = yes
Indiana trade = yes
Beneficial-Luck-5078
Ausar instead of Ivy , and Masai send Pascal to NBA jail
MDS_1996
Indy’s not including Mathurin (I’d imagine they would trade Walker), OKC says no. Out of the offers that are possible:
I really like the Brooklyn trade, would probably look to trade Jak during the deadline or at the lastest the summer, but Cam Thomas, Nic Claxton and a pick as the main return for Siakam would be very good
Detroits is ok, I don’t know why they’d do it, but it all depends on how you value Ivey
I like the Dallas trade because there’s not a single bad contact amongst all the players, I’ve always liked Grant Williams, OMP has a lot of potential, Green has actually turned himself into a very solid defender, can space the floor, (he’s struggled a bit) still young, (he’d only be 24 by the end of the 24/25 season) and he’s locked up on a very reasonable contract for the next 3 years after this seasons over and lastly THJ could be flipped again on deadline day or the summer for another protected 1st. I don’t think Dallas would include Grant because that still leaves them a little thin at PF, so my guess is they’d want to include Holmes instead
Lastly the Warriors deal offers a lot of cap flexibility (I know the Raps aren’t an FA destination), and of course Kuminga, Moody, and a pick, depends on how high you value Moody and Kuminga, but Kuminga seems like a prospect that Masai would gush all over
m4ps
These are all written by Raps fans I guess
attainwealthswiftly
Cam Thomas is a walking bucket
jjkiller26
In terms of ranking the deals I’d go:
Pacers
Thunder
Warriors
Pistons
Mavericks
Nets
If we’re set on trading Pascal without a doubt, I wouldn’t say no to any of these
Foldzy84
If that Pacers deal was actually on the table Pascal would be on a plane to Indy.
Also, GS can’t trade their 2026 pick so not sure why they’re including that here.
I think Dallas’ is the most likely to actually be offered.
JediRaptor2018
For GSW, I would give them back one of those picks for Moody.
The Dallas offer is okay if they are the only team that is willing to trade for Pascal knowing his UFA status.
Yes to the OKC deal (but I don’t think OKC does it)
No to Detroit; don’t think we need Ivey anymore with IQ.
No to Brooklyn; Claxton is also a UFA, and Cam Thomas is chucker. He can get hot, but is useless when he does not.
Yes to the Pacers; they can keep their picks if that helps.
ttttyttt678
Wait Nets give us Cam Thomas AND Nic Claxton, 2 serviceable veterans and a pick…..and pacers give us Mathurin AND Walker and a pick…those 2 trades are crazy overpays.
timbitfordsucks
Indiana and Brooklyn are the only decent ones. Idk why yall wanna trade an all star player for all shit players gtfoh
Agreed_fact
I have no thoughts on these trades off the top of my head other than what the fuck is that Dallas proposed trade. Get it the hell off my screen.
kastoreli
A bit misleading. These are all the trades suggested by the Raptors writer as a starting point. They are then analyzed by the other writer and countered with lesser offers and follow up analysis. No one in the article actually thinks that the initial Indiana one is realistic, for example.
NoMaybenotactually
LOL the nets one is highway robbery, that’s a crazy proposal imo
lil-privacy-please
Ew
Spicy__Urine
Indiana looks best. Maybe why they keep coming up…
jimmywisdom
Our total assists per game is skyrocketing since the trade. Our offense looks fluid for once. Adding Cam Thomas would surely be a step backwards. We don’t need him.
