Melo calling RJ “bland”

Looks like Melo is doing his best to stay relevant by calling our boy from Mississauga bland and devaluing his contributions to the Knicks. 🤷🏽‍♂️

RJ is kind of bland. He has the talent but lacks a killer instinct

Melo said the Nuggets gave Jokic #15 to wash away his (Melos) accomplishments 😂

Melo doesn’t waste any opportunities to be corny and salty. Dude is not having an easy time accepting the fact that he didn’t provide much significant impact in the NBA with his skill set.

Melo and I have something in common, we both never won an NBA Championship.

I think Melo is just podding tbh. I don’t think he could possibly believe most of the shit he says. He said the Nuggets gave Jokic (Noted star prospect, drafted during a taco bell commercial) his number to diminish Melo’s accomplishments

lmfao guy said “you don’t know if he gonna get 4 or 24” like what? you mean the guy who averaged about 18ppg literally his entire career so far? if you talk about his fg%, sure that varies game to game maybe a bit more than most, but his ppg is pretty much his most consistent contribution LOL. shows how stupid melo actually is about basketball, he’s always been skilled but dumb. “Aye P, they saying Melo still talking bullshit”

Carmelo “It’s bigger than basketball” Anthony

Why the negativity? Sounds like he’s just projecting his own insecurities

Melo was a very good individual player, but never made his team better. Kinda important since bball is a team game.

It goes to show how much pressure RJ was in playing NY. With the Raptors, there is very little expectations since he is seen as filler on the trade.

I’m glad Bron, Wade, Bosh got their rings and this dude didn’t

Guys on a run of ice cold takes lmao

Melo played for Melo…without any real team accomplishments, his points were like empty calories.

  14. FallenLemur

Seems like it worked, got everyone talking about gim again.

This was based off his Knicks days. These are literally what I hear from Knicks fans so I’m not gonna discredit him.

  16. Game respecting game.

Truth be told, RJ was bland on a team that didn’t use him to his potential. That roster was as messed up as our was.

How they had 2 good starters being played as extras is beyond me. That team would have been much better moving out Randal and freeing up their team with out him dragging everyone into the mud.

Even this epic run with OG, the amount of times Randal puts his head down and doesn’t kick out to the wide open 3 is alarming. OG is happy now but when you take 85+% of your shots 2 dribbles or less do you really feel like you’re being given the opportunity you’ve always wanted ?

  17. Carmelo still mad he never made a name for himself in the nba so he takin shots at everyone and anyone. Bro would be a towel boy on any team that has a chance winning a ring just to be on the floor when they win.

  18. Sure. As long as he keeps shooting about 45% from 3, averaging 20+ points efficiently, and plays above average defense. Who cares if that’s bland lol. Better to have bland than Kevin Porter Jr.

The funny thing is that to most raps fan, RJ is a breath of fresh air.

OG was bland! At least RJ can create and looks fluid with his movements.

Didn’t Melo basically sabotage Jeremy Lin’s career bc he was jealous? Eff that guy

  21. OG could not be consistent 20pt scorer if he tried. That’s a fact. I’m glad RJ is back at the crib.
