Coby and Vucevic’s defensive weaknesses were exploited about the most I’ve ever seen this game. And it came on the same night.
There is no way in hell that Julian is worse than Ayo and DT.

Yeah the booing of Krause killed what was a great night until then. The team was visibly embarrassed and checked out after that. It was almost as thought the didn’t want to play in front of the fans, and I don’t blame them. This is our fanbase’s reputation now.
Can’t wait for the recent good momentum to be dead now, and for the radio to blame Lavine.

I thought Klay was washed up. We let him drop 30 on us. This loss is on the terrible defense. And Vooch being the worst one on that end.

The Coby white 40 second late whistle followed by the unreasonable tech totally blew all the wind out of our sails. Oh and also booing a dead man probably gave us some bad karma
If you told me before the game that DD, Lavine, and Coby would combine for 90 and we would still lose I would not have believed you.

Amazing 2nd quarter but the boo’ing and extra long half time screwed the team.
Hopefully the team bounces back next game. Coby was getting exposed a lot going under the screens too much on the shooters.
Wiggins and Klay were having terrible seasons but we may have just saved their season lol.
What a shit 3rd. Ayo, Terry, Vuc and Drummond and awful games. 4 fouls or not Coby had to be out there in the 3rd. Never want to play GSW again

Ugly defensive game, but our offense genuinely looked really good there.
Played a solid first half and then when we blitzed in the second half (which actually kept steph in check) the roll man killed us because we were scared to leave corner shooters…tried man to man and Steph popped off. Hard team to beat when Klay looks like Klay every few games.
Say what you want about this 3 headed loose canon but Coby, Zach and Derozan were the only positive players +/- on the team lol The rest of the team let us down
That was a wild swing of a game. The end of the 2nd quarter was the best basketball I’ve seen since the D Rose days and the the third quarter was some of the worst basketball I’ve seen from the Bulls since the Boylen days.
I know this isn’t why they lost but I’m not a fan of ac starting. 4 guards and vuc is the not play.
Honestly, it’s kind of a whatever night basketball wise. No one can let up 140 points and expect to win. PERIOD. The fact that we got to 130 is impressive to me. Happens.
The real issue is the people booing a widow 26 years later. I get it. Krause’s legacy is that he was the one who blew it all up and we still haven’t recovered, but that’s not how I want people to talk about the Chicago Bulls. We can do better than that. On the floor and in the stands.
We deserved this loss for how poorly we behaved tbh. Good fight out there by the guys, but that left a sour taste in my mouth
We’re usually a solid defensive team, but tonight our guys were straight turnstiles. It’s just frustrating because this was a winnable one.
The fact of the matter is that the GSW are literally the worst sort of team for the Bulls to try and beat. They lack size inside which is usually great for Vooch and Drummond, but they’re great wing defenders so that cuts off tons of passing lanes and they gang rebound which means their lack of size on offense is rarely hurt. Vooch and Drummond are decent on offense, but they lack speed and mobility meaning they can’t beat anyone on drives which isn’t great against smaller faster bigs.
On defense our guards are terrible at dealing with bigs on PnR, which is usually fine because they get around screens well meaning that the Center is usually not pulled too far out of the paint. But with Curry and Thompson you literally can not give them an inch, meaning the bigs are either pulled out on an island and the switch is impossible to make, which allows Curry to feast off the dribble, or you give them easy threes.
Part of this is their shooters getting hot at the right time, but a lot of it too was that Kerr exploited these two things endlessly in the 3rd quarter. When Billy adjusted to go small Kerr put two bigs in and essentially dared guys the size of Zach to try and defend guys the size of Saric. That’s just not possible. The fact is that Drummond or Vooch was not the answer. What was needed was a second big forward to ensure they couldn’t just spam post plays but this team doesn’t have anyone at that level at that size.
And as soon as the lead vanished the Bulls panicked offensively and tried to rush things, leading to bad shots and early threes with no help down low.
So in the end the team got beat because Kerr is a great coach and they had a roster that exploited a bunch of weaknesses in the team. Not much that could have been done.
Booing is bad but I feel the bulls should of known how the fans feel about Krause and not had him
Fact is, the effort tonight wins 90% of the time. The Warriors just made shots all night. You have to defend, even though they are older, they still can have nights like the Championship teams.
The small ball lineup with PWill at the 5 for that late stretch was a positive though at least. Maybe we’ll see more of it when teams go small.
Sooo we lost…. But can we talk about the fucking travesty that is the fact the Emoji eyes Derrick White has more All Star votes than Sub Zero Coby White? This kid has worked his ass off all season and for some reason way less all star votes than Boston’s 6th man
