What’s wrong with bi
Trey needs to figure out some sort of inside game. He’s looking more timid than Dyson when he drives
We have a chance to go 4-1 on a tough road trip and this sub is acting like we won’t even make the play in…..
feels like we need the win tomorrow
Rough loss but they happened. Came out with no energy and no Hawk for ummm reasons I guess. We should feature our main guys more unless the role players are scorching. There is no reason either Bi, Z or both of them should be sitting in the corner on plays. Fuck this sub and I’ll see y’all tomorrow.
Tough game. Nuggets did what good teams do when they get a lead. BI had a terrible game and CJ had some terrible shot selections. I’m glad Zion let loose in the 4th. Oh well, on to the next one. I guarantee you at least one starter will be out.
Free Hawk.
They’re saving Hawkins for the 5th quarter guys don’t worry.
Real talk, I don’t have a problem with playing Zion in the 4th even when some time passed. While it’s unlikely they would’ve won because Jokic is Jokic and Denver is really damn good especially at home, it was still a game with about 6-8 minutes left. Dyson and Trey missed some timely shots and the Pels couldn’t get any stops. I appreciate that Zion at least attempted to keep the game within reach. Could it have happened sooner, sure but a lot of that I thought was schematic and him not getting calls and/or rolls on offense.
Eh tough L. Denver played very well and we just never could find a way to go on a run. Didnt like the Hawk dnp but it is what it is
Sucks losing and seeing Hawk on the bench after playing so well with Z and Trey last game. But its just 1 loss against the champs and we have been playing great lately.
If you look on certain sections of Twitter, people have been calling what we’re doing “Kumbaya” offense, because neither of the stars are leaned on very much. And when you’re blowing out teams with BI and Zion scoring less than 20 a piece it looks wonderful, cruising to a win while the top 2 aren’t overworked and have a lower risk of injury
Thing is, against the best of teams you can’t expect your role players to get you going. Your best players need to set the tone and do it for 4 quarters. So while allowing a trap to take out BI, and a wall to take out Zion gives an easy look to CJ or someone else, the best teams will live with that every single night.
Zion got going late and kudos to him, but we need like 80% of the effort in the 4th to happen throughout a game. We need BI to get going early so that he doesn’t end a game with 10 or 12 shots or whatever and never have rhythm. Either play shooters more (Trey and Hawk PLEASE) or actually run more sets for your best players
Willie man. Where is that great rotations from past 2 games? Hawkins didn’t play at all.
You got Naji as the main “defender” in that 1st quarter, which is not going to work. Dyson should be in for Herb, Hawkins for CJ and Nance/Zeller for JV. That Naji Jose lineup is the reason we are down, and we can’t generate offense – and what is worse, you again repeated the same in 3rd quarter and the offense stale.
We saw Trey Hawk feast with BI and/or Z, and they are passing to each other and moving pretty well, and we didn’t see those.
Why you keep forgetting what is working really well and making it hard for this team? Hawk Trey CJ with Z, BI and Z PnR, Z DHO with BI.
Another willie masterclass, and as much as it’s nice for Zion to stat pad a little, there was no point to everyone playing that much, especially on a b2b which might be a punt.
I’m not sure but I think willie might have an allergic reaction to playing hawk
Also Bi should never have just 12 shots in a game, that’s coaching malpractice
Zion was the only one who really came ready.
They should have just let him drive the whole fourth.
