absolutely, but i just want to stay around the 4-6 seed until hali comes back.

3rd? Let’s go for the 2 seed. But in all seriousness, probably depends on how they do while Tyrese is recovering. They hold serve (or even have a winning record) then you have to think it’s possible. I’d be happy just avoiding the play-in games though.

    Yes if Haliburton stayed healthy.

I’d be happy if they can win 4 of the next 9.

    Top 4 is the goal.

absolutely… not. 76rs, Bucks, and Celtics will have the east for a while, unless Joel goes to a west team.

The top 3 have been juggernauts in the east for a while idk. It would be nice but Philly is on a tear and Boston and Milwaukee are Boston and Milwaukee

This upcoming stretch is brutal. 3-8 is all pretty close. I’d be happy just splitting the next 10 games or so.

  7. Let’s reconvene at the beginning of February. Over the next few weeks…

    * Nuggets & Suns twice
    * Kings twice (second game on Feb 2nd)
    * Celtics, Sixers, and Knicks (Feb 1)

With how packed the East is (and depending on when Tyrese is able to return), we may have some ground to make up after this tough stretch is over.

No, plus, Miami is always in the mix. I think New York will continue to do well and Cleveland pretty quietly has the same record Indy does.

Philly, Milwaukee and Boston are going for rings and Miami will turn it on, so that’s four right there. Indy is in the next tier of teams in the East, imo.

It’s possible but saying it’s realistic would be false. We are without our best player for at least 2 weeks and all you need to do is look at our upcoming schedule to realise a top 3 seed isn’t possible, at least for the near future. Also there’s literally 1 loss between us and the 8th seed, could be very skewed come start of February.

They’re going to drop some on this trip. They just want to hang around 4th.

Only if Embiid misses a bunch more games

  12. cwesttheperson

Not with our remaining January and without Tyrese.

  13. leenewatson

Realistically, i put our ceiling at 4 unless Embiid gets hurt anything 4-6 would be very successful imo

4 seed is the most realistic optimistic hope. Of course the 3 seed is possible but MIL, BOS and PHI are very strong teams and I don’t see any of them falling out.

I wouldnt be shocked by anything between 4 and 9. 10th seed at this point in the season would be disappointing and falling out of the playin would mean something really bad happened to the team

  15. MySabonerRunsOladipo

Probably not, but 4-5 is absolutely where the team is and should expect to be at year’s end assuming decent health

  16. chadowan

There’s gonna be a lot of shuffling between the teams 4-8. Unless there’s a major injury I’d bet the top 3 stays as is

  17. nonufwiendz

Yeah but 8th seed also realistic so maybe chill

  18. ElectivireMax

The Celtics and Bucks are basically locked in at 1 and 2, and I think the sixers are better than us. But I think we should stay around the 4-6 range.

  19. Disastrous-Entry-879

No not really. We have a really tough schedule coming up. I would’ve beeen happy if we went .500 with Tyrese. I cant see us doing that without him.
