@Toronto Raptors

Toronto has lost 4 out of 5 games, raptors have given up 656 points a average of 131pts a game in these 5 games

We maybe a bottom 5 defence now

Unless we’re shooting amazingly like RJ having 70% TS

We were gonna have trouble winning games

Margin of error when you have such bad defence is so small

Masai gotta do something and we get this right

We’re also missing our starting centre, Thad Young and Porter (credit to him) isn’t enough to manage on defence

People will bring up the lack of Jakob but the reality is our defensive efficiency dropping has been a trend that started well before he got injured and is now bottom 10 in the league. I was saying so much emphasis has been on the Raptors offense despite the fact the defense that was supposed to be a strength has been below average for most of the season.

Yeah, but lets just continue to gush about how good tbe offence has been

At least losing those games were better to watch with a good offense, but it had to regress eventually

Buckle up boys gonna be a long road to finishing 12th place lol

Coach is too focused on offense. Even in his pressers, he’s always talking about offense.

The defence is bad. No one knows who to guard once a switch has happened. The rebounding is not good. The man to man defence is not good. The help defence is not good. Most of the guys are not on the same page. Darko doesn’t have them ready for that side of the floor at all. There’s very little discipline, lots of gambling and playing with hands. It’s disappointing. We definitely need a veteran defensive coordinator next year.

it is what it is, we used to be a good defensive team with no offense and it sucked, at least in terms of entertainment value being an offensive team that lacks defense is fun to watch when there isn’t a lot of expectations in the post-season. Plus if we’re being honest our defensive issues were only being masked by how godly OG was

Having the team be watchable >>> whatever the heck Masai and Bobby tried building last year and the beginning of this year.

Hopefully the defense gets addressed either at the deadline through us selling a big piece or in the off season with the Detroit pick because I’m assuming SA gets our 1st this year

OG was the defensive anchor of the team. It’s very noticeable when he’s out. It’s why the Knicks defence has jumped too

since the 11th game of the season the defence been garbage.

This was a tough road trip especially for a team that was just shaken up considerably.

But regardless, defense has been terrible. I think ideally we get back some defensive minded players in a Pascal trade.

I’m super curious to see if a trade goes down asap or if Masai feels he can hold out until the deadline. 9 games under .500 is fucking rough.

Team needs a backup big, Alex Caruso, Dorian Finney Smith, and we’ll be set! light work??

We need to figure out this defense, teams get any 3 they want against us, can drive to the rim at will, and get offense rebounds all day. The defense is a top to bottom disaster.
