Amount of pain uh you know by the time the the game rolled around the other day uh I was mostly fine it was it was like the pain had mostly dissipated for the most part uh it was mostly just because I was exhausted and completely dehydrated um

And I knew that like okay if I go down and I go live it’s going to be a boring show cuz I’m going to be really tired um and I’m not going to be able to like keep up with everything and and you know everything like that so I was like let

Me just relax recover we’ll get right back to it on Friday so here we are right back to it we don’t miss games if we don’t have to um and uh you know I I laate for the first time in like two years I laid down

And watched a game and and just like in silence and it was glorious it was great uh enjoyed myself but at the same time like I wasn’t as locked into the game as I am when I’m watching it with you guys so uh I I definitely missed it I

Definitely missed doing the game with you guys uh but happy we’re back happy we’re ready to go I was looking forward to it all day and I’m excited I don’t know about you guys but I’m like reinvigorated I’m ex uh excited again all over again as if at the start of the

Season to watch this team because it feels like a new team with uh with OG and it’ll be coming through so um I’m ready to go it’s a nice big game today against the Philadelphia 76ers uh we’ll see if the N can pick up a win today it is a nationally televised

I’m ready to go I’m ready to get nice big old win today trying to stay undefeated in the OG an anobi era um again I’m real excited I feel like this is a new team and we get to sit down and watch them and kind of reanalyze how everything works again um

And in that Chicago game we didn’t get to talk about the Chicago game in that Chicago game uh the ball movement was was a sight to behold now there were a lot of turnovers Chicago Bulls are really good forcing turnovers that was another reason I was like you know good

Thing I’m not doing this because I would be so frustrated uh watching this team and talking about it but um the B movement overall like once OG and and Obi like this is also a guy who doesn’t really know exactly what’s going on around him right now uh you know just

Came over to the team he’s got to learn the offense and everything uh with all that being said the ball movement was nice they were moving it around swinging and around um also Isaiah hardstein 20 rebounds five big old blocks in that Chicago game uh we’ll see we’ll see what

He’s made of tonight as a starting center going up against one of if not the best big men in the league uh tough to say that when yo catches right there and he missed like five shots over his last four games but um embiid’s handful he’s going to try and get hardstein in

Foul trouble right away we go to be ready for it he’s got to be ready for it julu said that Jon Murray campaign is real now some of the reports came out uh the Knicks weren’t listed as one of the team teams who were who were calling

Atlanta about the Jon M I will say that julu I will say that uh Isaiah said the nigs and Bulls was a good game for real was uh I was watching it yeah yeah I I had it on I was watching it I was excited um wish

The Nicks ex you know got out to a larger lead earlier in that game but Chicago solid since Zack lavine’s gone down and Kobe White’s taking a step up in his game uh they’ve been pretty solid they’ve been a solid team they’re tough out uh they’ve been reinvigorated especially on the defensive end

And they did not make that game easy but the Knicks still at the end pulled it out um a solid solid 16-point win I believe it it ended up being uh put the clams on him in that fourth quarter that was fantastic to watch I love that this

Nicks team is you know for a while there we were like a really good offensive team and then in Spurs we were a good defensive team but it wasn’t consistent defensively it’s starting to become really consistent defensively and we’re starting to win games to our defense uh

Well the last two specifically so I’m excited to watch him play a really really good team tonight Philly Philly’s been uh spectacular they’ve been fantastic but throw all the superlatives at them because they’re really good they’re really good uh big red said embiid’s gonna eat

We got to shut his help down um yeah it’s going to be interesting to see who starts on Maxi I assume it’s an anobi but you know maybe maybe tibs goes with like Dante or something because of the quickness but um yeah yeah I mean amid can can still

Beat the Knicks all by himself so we’re definitely going to need Harr step up and stay out of foul trouble that’s for sure uh this is also an ESPN game so this game is going to just start late because that’s what ESPN does they’re programming loves to just talk and talk

Hopefully a decent amount um I I go jogging a lot during the the warmer times of year and during the winter I’m like I’m like in hibernation I gained so much weight during the winter it’s also because of the holidays but I’m sure everyone does especially in the

Northeast where it’s super cold outside and like I don’t know about you guys but I hate working out indoors I’m more of an outdoors person like I’ll go jogging I’ll do push-ups I’ll do situps outside all that I’ll go to the park um so when the winter comes around I’m not doing

Nothing like occasionally I I remember to stretch and and get push-ups and sit-ups in and whatnot like very basic calisthenic stuff but um hope hopefully that was part of the reason I’m standing up I just can’t sit in the chair the whole time you know um you got to keep

The energy up gotta keep it moving isai Garner said uh bay had 51 for the Pistons last year he’s a bucket uh he can score can score that was at the end of the year you know like saying Obi toppen can can score he’s a bucket

He’s got 42 once at the end of the year wasn’t that the last game of the year it was something like that wasn’t it Isaiah said the bench is going to be a little bit better uh once we get Murray and bom G the Knicks uh will have the best starting lineup and

Obviously doesn’t want to pick up the an early foul and be is going to try and get him to foul trouble early Randall bringing it down hands it off to Deon chinzo over to Brunson coming to his right around the horstein screen dribble pull up l l

Can’t get to it and the rebound Falls right into Maxi’s hand he’s bringing it down under 11 minutes to go Maxi left side of the Court coming to his left anobi sticks with him gets to the foul line pull up jumper over anobi can’t get it to go fight for the rebound

Demon chenzo comes with it gets it away from uh uh UB divon chinzo transition pull up three get it to go Deon chinzo has been a Absol sniper the last handful of games it’s been longer than that but the last handful of games he’s been like automatic horstein pokes it away from MB

Deon chinzo picks it up out in transition lays it up with the left hand can’t get it to go but fouled by UB Deon chinzo going to the line for two it’s a very good start for the Nick so far the defense has been solid Anon um Anon Obi

Locking down on Maxi early oh that was divon chinzo who dug down and tipped the ball away so divon chinzo got the steal and rewarded himself I wish he could have converted that late but wasn’t a hard foul for mub but he is going to the line for two free

Throws knock down the first one demon chinzo getting really comfortable in this St lineup I love it I love it Isaiah said uh this game we have to put pressure on him beat him Maxi will be good I mean the two best players the two best players they throw

Inside to embiid embiid turns gets fouled by divon chinzo he tried to come over for another steel embiid saw it coming quickly spun towards the Baseline drew a foul uh on his hook shot so he’s going to the line for two free throws now Deon chinzo is a really good player

To use to double team embiid uh because he’s just really sneaky he’s just really sneaky he knows the angles he knows the the line of sight of players he plays pass passing Lanes beautifully he’s got active hands so uh it’s smart to use St chinzo here as the guy digging down on

Embiid most times uh it could just be uh and be’s been posting up on on the side of divon chinzo last couple of times but um I like I like this trend so far uh this time didn’t go his way picked up the foul but Julie said with in this game yes we

Are yes we are we already came out pretty solid there’s a stoppage in play here looks like embiid’s got a little blood on his on his hand or something so they’re going to stop the game and and clean that up before he goes to shoot a second free throw but he knocked down

Care about playing like Mitchell Robinson like there are there were multiple times last year where uh hardstein was uh finishing games over Mitch and their minutes were like pretty split like hardstein be play like 26 minutes and Mitch would play like 22 and you never really heard a peep out of him

Um aside from like a silly post from Mitch on the Snapchat here and there um so I’m not really worried about uh them coming back next year and playing together uh it’s just you know you know um the Knicks traded their best trade adet in Emanual quickly and uh their next best trade

Asset should they choose to use it is one Mitchell Robinson who has a very very favorable contract a descending contract now you guys know how I feel about my guy big Mitch favorite player on the team by far it’s not even close but make the team better see what the

Knicks decide which is why I would never be a good GM because I would never in a million years trade my guy Mel Robinson cuz that’s my guy but I think it’s worth bringing up and talking about because Stein will most likely end the year as the starter with Mitchell Robinson out

Um there is a small sliver of hope that maybe he could come back this season uh but I don’t think anybody in the organization is relying on that uh but the first part of your your your comment there julu he is 100% getting paid whether it’s from the

Knicks or somebody else hein’s getting paid this summer Yak said fans who don’t want Mitch will find out how much we need him tonight yeah I mean you need 48 minutes of of defense against this Philly team and obviously specifically against uh embiid but um I hope we I hope hardstein plays well

Bit of an early edge here Julie said Sixers locked and loaded so far the joh campaign is real uh even if it is nothing is is getting done until we get closer to the deadline uh the anobi trade is an anomaly uh trade raides don’t happen

This early in the season they all happen around the deadline so even if even if the Knicks are in on the dejonte Murray sort of sweep Stakes that that might be available if the Hawks do decide to trade them um uh it’s not happening anytime soon we

Overall if Philly shoots a little bit better in the second half the nigas don’t shoot as well in the second half I expect this to be a lot closer game um here in the second half because I don’t know if you can rely on this shooting

All game long I know we said that like when other teams have good shooting games against us like when we especially when we played Milwaukee and Milwaukee was just lights out from three against us all game long it never stopped right we went to half time thinking okay maybe

If Milwaukee cools down here they’re shooting ridiculous percentage here from three um and that just never happened that just never happened in in those uh two games that we played where they killed us from the perimeter um so maybe it doesn’t happen here for the Knicks

But at the same time their defense is is the thing that’s really propelled them here and they’ve gotten a lot of their threes out of transition um but Josh Hart can I give some love to Josh Hart some we’re sometimes really hard on Josh Hart because we G him big old contract um

Sometimes he’s out there and he’s he’s known as the intangibles guy and when he’s out there not doing the intangibles you’re looking at him and you’re like what are you out there for then you know if you’re not grabbing the rebound if you’re not pushing the pace if you’re

Not getting transition assists what are you out there for um cuz it’s not the knockdown threes even though you can but uh tonight Josh Hart in the first half six points eight rebounds five assists he’s hoping uh we’ve gone through the McBride stuff four for four from three

Four for six overall for 12 points auua did knock down a three I thought auua had a pretty solid minutes in the first half there I was impressed with auua I liked what I saw uh I also liked what I saw from qu Grimes even though he didn’t knock down

A shy he does have two rebounds and two assists uh 0 for three from from three but I like what I saw from Grimes came over had a nice impressive block on embiid from the weeks side that was nice uh divon chinzo three for three from three he continues his insanely hot

Scorching hot shooting uh he’s up to 11 points Brunson I mean we talked about Brunson uh 21 points eight for 12 from the field four for six from three he’s he’s just hoping on him there’s he’s knocked down tough shot after tough shot uh uh he’s he’s generated good look

After good look uh 21 points no assist for Brunson tonight so after back toback double digit assist games he said no I’m getting mine I’m actually just going to get mine I’m just going to get 21 points in the first half um Julius Randle 1 for eight uh not

The greatest showing offensively only six points four boards but again doing a bit of everything six points four boards four assists um and I thought he he was a fantastic hub for the Knicks there he was generating good look after good look Anon Obi One for six one for two

From the field seven points two rebounds um doing a little bit of everything an anobi uh the defense has been solid of course um but the shooting isn’t necessarily there he’s only one for six so again even though the three-point shooting uh seems like a bit of an

Outlier the fact that between anobi and Randle they are one uh they’re two for 14 like they’re going to pick that up in the second half right they’re going to play better and then I expect the Grimes to at least knock down a shot here

So uh before the 76ers I mean the only two guys playing well at all like even remotely well is Maxi and embiid I guess ub’s tried to CHP in here and there he’s three for seven from the field knock down two threes he’s got 8 points six

Rebounds so he’s the other guy kind of showing up for them a little bit here but embiid with 164 and one um not really dominating the game at all and Maxi with 20 points two rebounds seven assists he’s kind of been the leader of Philly tonight embid seems to be getting

A bit frustrated here we’ll see if he becomes a lot more aggressive here in the second half I’m I’m interested to see how he comes out uh in this third quarter if he tries to again bait har TR some more fouls uh but other than that I mean

Their bench has a total of six points Reed has two Beverly has two and Springer is two and that’s it uh the Knicks bench 12 for McBride six for HART three for aoua so that comes out to uh 21 points so it’s 21 to6 uh in terms of of bench production all
