Ah so we’ve entered the “I’m just a coach, how am I supposed to motivate my team or get them to execute the game plan with energy?” portion of Jason Kidd’s head coaching tenure.
He’s now proven to be a bad coach in three cities

Now usually that would be just something that coach says, because he doesn’t know what to say, but Kidd really looks like he isn’t doing anything most of the time.

Without Luka and Lively( zero paint presence and rim protection with him off the court) I would say that the Mavericks are underdogs against any team in the league bar Portland and Detroit, no matter who is missing from the other team.
Of course, they can win some when Kyrie is there and they get hot from the 3p , but I would not expect guaranteed wins even against shorthanded teams on a b2b.
I don’t like it when really really good players become bad coaches. Kidd should be remembered for what he did on the court and not on the sidelines
