MPJ had one sequence where he had a relocation corner 3, push in transition floater, 2 tough defensive boards, and a transition push where he drew the big and dropped it off to jokic in the restricted area with a SF on him for a guaranteed hook all in about 2 mins of game time
He is so much better than even last year and (to me) the difference between the nuggets having a ’04 pistons run with 1 chip and some conference finals appearances and a Spurs-esque dynasty with 4 chips in 8-10 years. He is one post fade away from being unguardable

In these last 6 games we’ve played against some of the best bench units in the league including the 2nd, 5th, and 7th best and ended up with the 10th best bench net rating at a +2.
I feel pretty confident in saying that although not great the bench is ok now with Jamal, Reggie, CB, Pwat, and DJ.
This might also be wishful thinking but with Zeke seemingly being out of the rotation regardless of the situation and seeing how much a washed up DJ can positively impact this team I wonder if the front office has a trade coming up involving Zeke for someone that fits the DJ mold since it’s not the hardest player to acquire. We’ll see though.
