I just don’t want to hear it from the guy whose missed over 20 games for not being able to control himself.
All this talk from the team cancer that drove out Durant and Poole, and made all the young guys not trust Kerr.
I mean, he’s speaking facts, but it’s odd hearing him speak again when he’s also a huge part of why we suck and have no togetherness.

Even if he admitted he’s a huge source of this team’s problems he still needs to be the one to say this as the best defender on the team.
And the root of this whole thing is confidence, leadership (lack thereof), and a poor locker room. This team consistently had players giving their all for years, and that just flipped immediately, and after winning a championship. I wonder why. Dray any thoughts on that one? I bet you have a punchers chance of figuring it out.

These guys just let other players shoot with comfort and have no pride in stopping them or playing defense with an urgency.
And TBH it starts with Steph Klay and the vets. They don’t seem to have any intensity on defense this whole season. It may be they’re just getting “too old for this shit” which means we are likely done.

People should really listen to the full thing. He addresses a lot about the defense. Even the subs most common “why does everyone seem to have career nights against us”, he breaks it down and is spot on.
The sad part is we are playing too many guys together that it’s physically impossible for stay in front of an average nba athlete.. it’s not just effort. Going back and watching the 2022 defensive highlights, it’s really shocking how Steph & Looney’s defense can drop off so much
Actually we are wasting a lot of energy playing kerr’s switching defense and it’s not working..
You and your dumbass shenanigans are a big part of that why the team is disconnected Dray.
I hope he can help the team turn it up defensively, it’s always been how we really won, even with KD here.
