Ok, who is not playing defense? Everybody? Do we lack the effort or are we just old and slow now?
getting rid of loon/nailing him to the bench/getting an actual big along with Trayce solves a huge chunk of our defensive issues

This is more than guys not taking pride in themselves. They can take pride in themselves all they want but when almost every team is younger, bigger, faster, more athletic than them, they’re not stopping anybody.
Everything goes back to Draymond punching Jordan Poole and how the team handled it. You can’t have accountability anywhere else after that. He can’t be your defensive leader and voice of the team after that.
We are too old, small, and slow for today’s nba. And it doesn’t help that Kerr insists on 3 guard sets lol.
It sounds nice to say but it’s really not about just taking pride. It’s all skill and BBIQ in the NBA.
Guys like Draymond, Bogut, Iguodala… I don’t think they wanted it more than JK, Podz. But that doesn’t mean they know what the fuck to do.

We help off the weak side way too much. It’s like guys cannot just stick with their man. If they can figure out how to stop helping so much on the weak side we would give up half the open threes we currently do.

I am a HUGE Loon-dawg fan but this team has ALWAYS had a hole in the front court and that issue is now under a gd magnifying glass. Trade EVERYTHING for a center and get Steph another shot at a championship
