His driving and finishing under the basket is impressive. Hope he keeps it up

LOLLL, according to Melo, he will have a 4 point game in the next game

  3. UjiriWatcher

He was forced in the corner playing with ball hogs in NY. Thank god they tanked his value. He is a talented player

  4. Ecstatic-Buy-2907

Well, he either scores 4 or 26. Good thing he’s been scoring around 26 more than he scores around 4

  5. Barnicus57

He doesn’t have to share the ball with Randle and Brunson.

Not playing with two other ball dominant left handed players has helped.

People forget three of their starting 5 were left handed, that clogs up the lanes.

We’ll have to see if this keeps up.he also started this year off on a heater with multiple 20+ point games. But eventually regressed to 12-14 points before coming here.

Kicks guys have been saying he’s streaky.

Overall he’s exceeded expectations so far.

They were talking about this on the broadcast yesterday. RJ gets the ball more often when attacking the basket off second and third actions in the half court offence. Even of first actions it’s off a mismatch or in transition. Not only does that help him finish around the basket, when he gets a kick out he shoots a better percentage from 3.

He’s shooting at an unreal percentage, thing’s will cool down…

RJ’s best skill was his post up game, all of his best games have him crashing the rim unless he has his red hot from 3 games. He never got the chance to use it effectively because Randle and Brunson have the ball at almost every second except when they are passing out to a 3 point shooter , or if they did give him the ball he was forced to have to make much more difficult looks in the paint.

He is a good player team is still shit after the trade and we can’t put together a string of wins even with the trade but I’m once we part ways with Pascal and get some young talent back everyone can gel and build chemistry and build momentum then maybe we can improve our bench. I’m not a fan of our “second string” players/ secondary cast of players that support our starting line up.

Toronto fans, this is the same RJ we Knick fans saw. RJ had the lowest +/- on the team and you’ll soon realize his scoring doesn’t impact winning. He was so inconsistent, he’d look like he’d be having a break out year than all of a sudden he disappears and never moves the ball to the open man. He lacks athleticism and constantly drives on 3 defenders. He’s the most frustrating player I’ve watched on the Knicks. I hope he turns it around being home and I wish you guys the best with RJ

  14. He’s scoring consistently, getting rebounds, getting to the line and also making a few plays for others.

    No complaints from me here.

He’s a huge upgrade from the inconsistency of Gary. The same Gary who provides nothing else if his shot is off.

  15. Love that he’s playing well and that he’s appreciated by Raptors fans. Hope he turns into an absolute stud and superstar with this new opportunity. Take care of the Maple Mamba and IQ 🥲
