Victor Wembanyama’s Passing Ability MOVES ME…
Victor wanyama has been on a tear recently to say the least the crazy thing is he’s on a minute’s restriction only playing 23.6 minutes per game over his last eight games obviously he’s been impressive this season but a trait that sticks out most to me is already he has
A natural feel and the ability to make quick passing decisions and not let the ball stick and at the size of 74 that skill is a major weapon simply because the quick decisions he makes you either have it or you don’t as a basketball player and since he has it that will
Open up his game even more as he evolves and grows into his potential let’s take a look at the film he’s fifth among rookies averaging three assists per game and he’s ranked sixth among rookies for total assists with the 101 as I’m recording this video the Intriguing
Aspect is he has flash dis ability in so many different situations this year which will allow the Spurs to get created ative with him in the future to make their offense very unpredictable he has the unique ability at his size to grab a rebound and handleing transition
Like a damn point guard here he forces Kyle Anderson to stop the ball and immediately recognizes the mismatch down low quick decision easy bucket and again same situation he draws a crowd and has the vision to find a leaking Osman for three then he will just do his best
Impression of a pure point guard like Chris Paul he recognizes soan has the mismatch so he points at him and soan gets position and wemi delivers It On Target where only his guy can go up and get it he’s such a smart player again he’s pointing out the mismatches and
When he gets the rock he doesn’t waste any time getting rid of the ball and it doesn’t really stick to him which means he will thrive in a team oriented system I mean he’s versatile look at this he gets a block on one end then runs the
Floor as quickly as he possibly can receives the pass and makes the correct extra pass to get his teammate an easy opportunity overall this skill makes him a dynamic roller in the pick and roll situation and pop here everyone and their mamas are thinking he’s shooting
The three off the pop but in the corner of his eye he recognizes The Cutting Osman and feeds him the rock for two he can digest the floor quickly in the short roll situation Vel draws to Booker guards the rim he quickly goes to his next read in 2 seconds but booty naked
Three as a result don’t get it twisted though he can be the Handler in the pick and roll and be able to see over the defense to find his rle man dribble handoff Handler no problem flip him the rock fake like he’s going into his jumper this is kind of his signature he
Does this a lot just to find Collins on the roll now he dribbles all the way to the other side like a point guard gets the screen draws two this is a great depiction of how his height allows him to see at all times which helps him out
Mpj and joic are large human beings one of the tallest and longest players in the NBA despite that they don’t disrupt his line of vision at all 99.5% of the league that just isn’t the case and more and more he will be drawing double teams
All around the court in the face up or mid post game or anywhere here he knows exactly where to go with the basketball whipping it across the court on target like it’s nothing this time he gets it in the middle of the paint draws to reacts accordingly setting up another
Three for his teammate he screens for Collins so they switch a smaller guard onto him eventually they find him even though his back is to the basket he’s still aware the cutter can potentially be open he just processes the game extremely well for a 20-year-old rookie it’s just so impressive that he’s able
To do this already at the NBA level so often he has had 13 games this season with four or more assists he just had a triple double against the Detroit Pistons where he put up 16 points 12 rebounds and 10 assists the reason I wanted to cover this is because I feel
Like it’s his most slept on aspect of his game and skill and it deserves a lot more attention because overall once he becomes a complete product this is going to open up the game so much for him and his teammates that’s all I got though let me know your thoughts Below in the

Yes!
Good content (GSG!!)…
I think sometimes the length of his arms get in the way of some of his passes which sometimes leads to some sloppy passes…I still wouldn’t want NO ONE in the nba over him!!
His IQ is just off the charts for someone his age. Defensively and offensively.
ROTY for sure!
People tend to forget he's a professional basketball player for 3 years now 😅 He isn't your average rookie, he's him
I’ve never prayed for a strangers health more that this guy.
IQ + Coordination + 7'5" = 💀💀💀
Great video. The potential of this guy as a scoring and playmaking centrepiece is through the roof.
Court vision is hard to teach. Guys got mad skills and ability but his smarts are incredibly impressive
Handles in transition like a point gaurd at 7'4 doesnt sound human lol
Well, based on his draft scouting report, Wemby can play 1 to 5 so him being able to play PG is not surprising to me. His passing skills is so underrated tho. Wemby can be a Point Center for the Spurs.
A lot of people actually believed the Spurs has gotten worse record-wise with him. That's not true. It was Pop's wild experiments that got them into this mess. With Wemby at PF, Sochan at PG and Jones as 6th man, the first 25 games was thrown away. Now that they are all in the right positions, we are starting to see not only Wemby's potential but the team as a whole.
europeans have a much better team spirit. They are more train to play for the team than for themself.
1:40 traveling!!! for the name of god…
People tend to undervalue the effectiveness of elite passing. Players are scared to leave their man because they don’t want to be the reason of easy points. Makes most of your plays 1v1s
I was just saying the same thing when I watched him in the hawks game he made a pass to tre jones that most guards can’t do
Euros will own the NBA for a long time. Giannis and Joker are in their prime. Then after their peak, Wemby will take over.
I could see the spurs running their offense through him in the future. Kinda like the Nuggets do with Jokic. If they go that route they still need to find a point guard who can at least be competent and average simalar ppg to Jamal Murray.
Victor, je t'aime !!!
You misunderstand something it is the way they are trained in europe a center must know exactly the same thing that a guard can do and vice versa !!!!!!
Not everything is about athleticism in europe you must know the game it start at 6 years old
God I just wish his team wasn’t so ass 😩💀
What's taking the Spurs time is for the rest of the team to figure out how to play with Victor.
I know. It seem obvious. But at the pro level they have to think about a lot of things that we aren't aware of.
Once they figure it out, the party will begin.
pay that man
If they get a legitimate center its going to be rough going for everyone
imagine if he had a teammates
N E XT L E V E L.
Ngl this just confirms further that he is MADE for a spurs type offense.
The evolution of big man has changed big time.
Bigs coming to the league now has to be able to score, defend and play make to be great or succeed in this league.
Victor is just incredible and every time I watch him play I just think about how good this kid is going to be down the line.
ROY, potentially an all star in his rookie year and will win many DPOY near the future 🔥
