One thing people must underhand is that playing for LA is always accompanied with a tax. It might be because of the pressure of being in the LA limelight or whatever. So when you have someone who is playing good to well for Lakers. You keep them, because many time, other players coming are not much better when you apply that tax to them. On example is the likes of Beasley who could not put in a 3 las t season. Now he is again one of the leagues very best 3pt shooter.

Lakers can win with this squad if they are healthy. We have not seen a smidge of what this defense can do when they are clicking on all cylinders. It would be the ultimate battle, but a fully healthy Laker squad can beat Denver in 7 en route to the chip
