Did the Jazz have any mascots before Jazz Bear? He’s only been around for about 30 years. I’ve tried looking it up and the only thing I can find is this clip that recently resurfaced about mascot auditions from 1980:
Did that purple Grimace-looking version of the Utah mascot ever make it to an actual home game? If not, were there any mascots in Utah between 1980 and 1994? Does anyone know if New Orleans had any in the short time the team played there?
