Damn. I’d love Brown, liked his game since his Net time. Also was hoping Indiana would have to give up more players for Siakam.

    Should be interesting.

Gonna sound ironic coming from a team with Dame’s big contract on it, but the extension they’ll have to throw at Siakam when he’s headed into his 30s this April might not be pretty.

That being said, I don’t think this really changes a whole lot in terms of how we match up with them.

Congrats on blowing your wad on a good not great player who could leave this offseason!

Good trade. Smart to get it done and settled before the deadline.

It definitely makes them more multidimensional and helps their defense.

  5. Does he want to be in Indiana? Earlier there were reports he wanted to test free agency. 3 1sts would be a lot for a rental.

I’m fine with this. Either he walks in the offseason (unlikely) or they have to give him the max. Siakam is a great player, but probably near the bottom of the tier of players you’d want to give a max contract to

Before anyone gets ahead of themselves, it’s super unlikely the Bucks trade for Bruce Brown. They’d have to trade Bobby and Pat just to match salary, Marjon as a flier and Portland’s 2nd round pick. Raptors can probably get more and that trade would really handicap the team bad.

This is bad. We couldn’t beat the Pacers before. How are they going to now?

I wonder what Philly’s plan for their cap space is now?

Obviously annoying that Indiana got better but at least we don’t have to worry about Siakam joining a Philly or a Boston

Nice trade for the Pacers! Three firsts is a lot but dude is kind of a perfect fit for Hali. Hope it works out for them (and that we dodge them in the playoffs)
