I’d love a Trae & Wemby duo as much as the next guy but I just don’t see this happening, sadly. At the very least not anytime soon.
If maybe Trae only had 2 yrs left on his contract and was demanding a trade then maybe the Spurs would have a good chance. However he’s signed until the end of 2027 and the Hawks are still trying to salvage what they can and compete even though it’s looking really bleak for them
