I found out there has been some devastating news from the world of the NBA namely the Golden State Warriors now throughout 2023 we did a bunch of videos on mainly young athletes you know collapsing and dying suddenly uh this is pretty much happened now in the NBA with the Golden

State Warriors uh one of their coaches an assistant coach I believe he has now passed away from a heart attack he was only 46 that’s really young man you know what I’m I’m 46 so that makes it a bit uh more shocking to me now this actually

Happened at like a team dinner or something and then the next day he’s dead this is horrible horrible news in the world of the the NBA I’m probably going to actually mispronounce his name I believe he’s Serbian if I’m not mistaken um I believe he went undrafted

Shocking and tragic blow for everyone associated with the Warriors and an incredibly uh difficult time for his family friends and all of us who who had the incredible pleasure to work with him the NBA postponed uh the Warriors game Wednesday in Utah against Jazz after learn learning of um malic’s uh

Hospitalization wow so wait a minute so the NBA cancelled the game or postponed the game after they found out he was hospitalized now that’s kind of unusual right there I get why you would actually do it you know if he passed away but they postpone a game after um they found

Out he was in a hospital man this this had to be shocking man you know you said down you’re eating with the team and then all of a sudden you know you actually um see him just I I’m assuming he just collapsed or something or maybe he was actually complaining about feeling very

Very unwell I don’t know you know there’s all different kind of um signals of a heart attack man um malovich is um malovich joined C staff with the Warriors in 2021 and was a well-regarded and popular coach in the NBA and international basketball communities his primary assignment with the Warriors was working

With the teams uh forwards and centers as a coach uh he led um buos I don’t know if I’m pronouncing that correctly to the proleague title and a national Cup in Montenegro and the national cup of Serbia he also coached um mega in the Serbian league and was closely

Associated with the early development of um two-time NBA MVP Nicola joic of the Denver Nugget man and we know that yic now is definitely one of the um the best players in the NBA he’s a champion also two-time MVP yeah but it goes on it says as a

Player um 6’7 250 lb malovich was a three-time Adriatic Basketball Association MVP and led the league in scoring twice he also won a um Yugoslav cup and Euro basketball title in 2001 uh quote in addition to being a terrific basketball coach desan uh was one of the most positive and beautiful

Human beings I’ve ever known someone who brought joy and light to every single day with his passion and energy K said in his statement we agree with his we agree with and for his wife Natasha Natasha and their children Nicola and Masa their loss is UNF famitable

Man sad man very very sad news here man I mean 46 years old man dies of a heart attack I mean we don’t know exactly um what caus this we really don’t but we had definitely seen an uptick you know in um cardiac problems

You know the past few years or so I know you guys going to have your speculations on that and I completely get that man but man awful awful news man um prayers to his family prayers to the Warriors man I’m pretty sure those players right now are definitely definitely um

Hurting knowing that U one of their own him has actually now passed away this you don’t really see that happen that much you know in uh sports like this not that I can think of but 46 man is really really young boy and I know that the Warriors

Also man they’re struggling a lot this season they’re out of the playoff pitchure right now um they just got a Draymond back and they still lost uh the other day but um I don’t know when they’re actually going to make up that game against um against the Jazz man

That that’s pretty shocking man shocking like I said I’m 46 myself I’m 46 and um you know what when somebody passes at the same ages you you know it’s kind of a shocker in a way you know especially young I mean I’m 46 so I’m middleaged so

Technically I’m not young but I still feel young and somebody that age um passes away yeah kind of a shocker right there man but sad news man very very sad news keep his family in your prayers I don’t know if he had any kids or not oh actually

They they did say he had kids he had uh two kids and the kids are um they actually they didn’t say how old they were but man still still man feel really really bad for his kids man I really do but that’s going to wrap it up guys
