Wtf man…. dude played 9 mins and had +8 differential and was all over the court making big time plays. Instead we play markelle 30+ mins.

Don’t EVER tell me that Fultz will help the Magic in 1/2 court offense. Dude is garbage AF and very clearly broken.
1v3 fast break and he dribbles it out for a reset. Plenty of shots he didn’t take and passed to worse ones.
30 minutes and we get 10-4-1 with 4 TO, that’s pitiful. I’d rather watch AB get minutes and work through things.

What a rollercoaster of emotions at the end.
Someone earlier in the day posted a thread asking if we should or could trade for dejounte (I can’t find it now) , but idk if we could, but I’d absolutely love to. For one he wouldn’t be able to break our hearts anymore and for two he’d fill two needs in one (playmaking and shooting) while also fitting in culture wise as it pertains to our defensive minded team.
Make your free throws and this is a win
I’m a big Fultz supporter but his being in the game at the end was pretty puzzling, even in offense-only possessions. Fultz did play perfect defense on the Murray shot, though, especially considering it was tied.
Tough loss. Hawks had so many turnovers that it’s kind of unacceptable to still lose. At the same time, it’s remarkable that the team has been so injured and yet they have a chance to win almost every game in recent memory. To be in that position consistently is remarkable and should be commended. The team is just that missing… oomph that they need. That last bit that knows how to handle 4th quarters, able to play off of Paolo and Wagner opportunities. Brogdon would be perfect.
How many games out of the last ten have been these battles? All of them except Minnesota? Every game is trench warfare, to the last drop
Honestly, I kind of hate this ‘by committee’ approach. Make some consolidating trades, and settle on a nine-man rotation. AB and Moe should be getting more than six seconds of game time between them.

I enjoyed this team better when Anthony Black, Trevelin Queen and Moe Wagner were playing to be honest. Markelle Fultz is done…Feel bad for the guy, but his injury torpedoed his career. It’s impossible to have any type of offensive continuity with all these lineup shifts due to injuries. I do think the Magic make some sort of deal to make room for some of our guys to get playing time. Remember, playoffs are not the priority for our front office this year. It’s a year of evaluation. However, there’s no reason why this team shouldn’t at least make the play-in.
Markelle is probably getting minutes to amp up his trade value. That’s it.
This was probably the worst game I’ve seen this season and we still should have won. Fouling Trae twice near half court while in the bonus was criminal.
Young team mistakes, they’ll learn from it.

This subreddit is so damn stupid
Lots of comments critiquing Fultz, and I agree that the lack of spacing when he’s on the floor is a huge problem. At the same time, none of the other guards on the team can create for others or get the team into their offense the way Fultz can. Especially with Wagner out, Paolo has been asked to do way too much, so I understand Mose playing Fultz down the stretch. Unless the team makes an upgrade, there’s just not a perfect answer at that spot right now.
At least one Orlando basketball team won today. Unfortunately it was the college team.
We really need guys to be more consistent and efficient. Paolo is great but he’s throwing up bricks. Settle down and make the right play. He settles too much. Cole is not playing well this season. His shooting and playmaking have been poor. Fultz is done. We need a trade to tweak this roster.
Missing Franz badly
And this is why I don’t hear that easiest remaining schedule bullshit because of losses like this.
Frustrating lost. Atlanta made 18+ TO and still we couldn’t make effective shots and smart plays.

I blame “coach” Mosley on this, very poor management and decision making.
What really sucks is watching Murray hit that jumper in markelles face, with Kelle all up in his space but only able to use his left arm to defend.

We didn’t deserve that game. Annoying DJM ends us, what, for the 3rd time in two years?
Didn’t like Mose’s rotations tonight. It is what it is. There were enough games where people questioned his rotations and it worked.. tonight it didn’t.
But, for fuck’s sake, we have to be able to trust players to hit free throws and get easy rebounds. Jingles couldn’t move to get a ball that bounced in front of him, WCJ/Paolo/etc couldn’t grab a rebound when it mattered most, Suggs/WCJ can’t hit free throws in clutch.
There’s a lot of things that can be blamed on people, but literally doing 1 or 2 of those things makes this game way easier to win.
Paolo if your jumper is not falling stop fucking chucking it and get to the damn rim Jesus.
Our ‘best’ player is costing us too many games man. I understand there will be growing pains, but it doesn’t stop you from changing things. Stop settling, move the ball. I know you’re thinking 20+ shots is necessary with Franz out, but it isn’t. We have enough above average, smart players in this rotation, even with the injuries.
