Because that guy was a beast you know uh and always positive um you know everyone remembers him as a guy who if you complain to him he was never the guy who complained first but you know if you complain to him he will always say like hey just

Laugh man you know you you only live once he was always saying that and you know seeing how much of the impact he had um it’s such sad thing you know to see how much impact he has on a lot of players people around the world um you know one thing that I’ll

Never never forget uh you know he never chased a career he is great player but he never chased his his career and he always wanted to live in you know family lifestyle with his kids in a good cities uh he never chased money um like I feel that’s a great great example for

Everyone to live the the the life you know like and he he’s his his saying was like he believes that if you don’t like your life there is no way you can like perform in your job on you cannot maximize your job you can perform but you cannot maximize your potential if

You’re not happy in your life cuz sometimes you know people value more jobs and some other stuff so yeah very very sad day he what did just specifically what he meant to you and your career and just about your relationship if you could a little bit um

So he he was one of the greatest partisan players that’s the team that I started uh he’s he was a legend over there he will always be Legend uh brought a lot of trophies to the team you know winning player just winning fighter uh I mean I never had a chance to coach

Uh to be coached by him but uh I played against him so many times uh we knew each other we we hanged out always on a raow I was so so happy for him when he came to to the NBA cuz he deserved it you know he he made a lot of good

Players in the team that he coached a lot lot of good young guys they came uh he he built that like tough mindset and and also you know don’t don’t put like basketball as a priority but Al life like like I said earlier uh

So I also I never get a chance to you know be coached by him but I learned a lot you know the seeing like how many guys are very happy with their careers and even if in our eyes are maybe not achieving the max but they’re happy you

Know they’re in happy place so I think that’s really important um and as I said like on everyone else he had such such an impact on on on on my life uh but sometimes we lose ourselves we forget about it you know so some some moments like

This are crazy you know seeing uh I just said to to John and G that you know knowing him for forever and and uh I got to the point I play for the Hawks in NBA then I have to see his picture for like

These 5 seconds is so like crazy to me I cannot believe you know that that that really happened boogy condolences to you and of course his family and loved ones but I did want to ask you like you kind of mentioned it a little bit for you like
