    On track for 48-34

Great game from Keldon, Barlow with some good rotational minutes, Jeremy with almost a triple double.

    Go Spurs Go

  2. spurs777_

Historically great teams have been able to win games and stay competitive WITHOUT their best player. The difference when Wemby is playing is night and day. Just shows that we are still a long way and more than a few pieces away from truly contending.

  3. Kaelanna

I love Keldon’s passion. And I loved Tre’s pesky defense. Blake Wesley looks like a keeper.

    That’s about all 🙁

EDIT: Oh and Sochan doing the hard, little things

  4. unArgentino

Will Wemby at least get 30 minutes tomorrow? Probably not.

  5. 1920sComedyAct

    Pop needs to retire

Branham and Wesley should be praying they got drafted to the spurs.

All Vassell does is chuck 3s

  6. kunjacob

So with our best player we’re able to blow Charlotte out of the water comfortably. Without him, we hang around and lose within the last minute while they play one of their best games of the season, okay I guess

  7. AfroHouseManiac

Spurs allowed the hornets to shoot 56% from the field and 55% from the 3, if Wemby doesn’t get second team all defense, man I’ll be pissed

Can we finally agree Brian Wright missed with Branham? He needs to be in the GLeague and call up Sidy.

  8. arcadiangenesis

Those three buzzer beaters at the end of each quarter were the difference 😅

  9. Dull_Flan6404

Finally have a good shooting game at 56%, but the n allow 56% for the other team

  10. baguette-1234

Close game but damn the Hornets, Zach needs some more time to come back at 100percent

  11. BallPlastic3792

Weekly get Zach Collins and Keldon Johnson off the team comment.

  12. Nolucho25

That moving screen call on Collins was an absolute killer and shouldn’t have been called. Just another example of the trash refereeing this year in the NBA. Refs should not cause the outcome of a game like this. This is a huge issue in the NBA and needs to be addressed because they are losing credibility.

With that said, if we were even a remotely capable basketball team then that call wouldn’t have mattered. We go through these stretches of just horrid basketball.

2 positives? Both of our point guards oddly enough… Blake Wesley coming on strong these days!

  13. oftentroller

Malaki Branham did a great job in the second half, hoping he continues sitting on the bench.

  14. So apparently with Wemby we have a top 5 defence and without him we’re 26th. That might have something to do with this loss after that 40 point win.

  15. Bonesawisready5

Man some of y’all on this sub are insufferably negative and 40+ years of success really spoiled y’all

  16. EazyBeekeeper

That reverse layup was pretty heartbreaking. Gg Hornets

  17. fifa20noob

Another competitive game until the end. Hopefully we gained some useful experience.

  18. DevilGunManga

Malaki got 7 mins. At least this team is heading in the right direction.

  19. Bonesawisready5

So why are people saying Devin was ass? He was 6/13 and 4/8 from 3? Everyone shot decent for the most part, just didn’t go our way. Shit happens

  20. thedam100

Sochan and Wesley made the game fun to watch. Branham pretty much lost his entire rotation to Wesley which is a telling sign.

I can’t believe people questioned Wemby’s impact and I’ll use this game to illustrate now from now on. We literally blew this team out and was resting starters in the fourth quarter last time we played them a week ago and this game we lead only once. No one except Keldon scored over 20. Smh lol ah man. We also shot worst than the worst 3 point shooting team in the league. That’s rough man.

-edit- in case anyone was wondering.

We are 0-6 this season without Wemby on the floor.

  21. siphillis

The real losers tonight is anyone who has to deal with the sheer, unending, unrepentant negativity of these fucking whiny fans. Some of y’all don’t like this team or even basketball and it shows.

  22. fartalldaylong

Blake over-helped a few times, which opened huge lanes to the rim…but he did have a lot more positives, than brain farts tonight.

  23. hindenburgular

Frustration with Devin aside, I loved what Sochan, Jones, Wesley and Barlow brought to the table.

It’s tough because our talent deficit is enormous in almost every matchup. There are some really nice supporting pieces here that will help when some more lottery level talent is added.

  24. DevilGunManga

Third quarter winning streak has come to an end 😔

  25. Babychewyyy

I’m loving Blake Wesley’s effort in the games. Tre has been great for what he is being asked to do. Sochan looks way more comfortable playing his natural position. Looking forward to a big wemby game tomorrow

  26. PatNewbie

Missed this game so now i gotta rewatch. I feel like it’s gonna be an interesting watch with FOUR hornets with 20+ lol

  27. radicalcamel

It has certainly been said already, but the people in the game threads who just shit on anyone except Wemby are genuinely insufferable, no one’s forcing you to watch or be here. It is the Spurs sub, support the team. If you can’t understand that we are a young, inexperienced team who are in a development phase, I don’t know what to tell you.
