Our perimeter defense is by far, the biggest issue this team faces

Our two perimeter D guys are Reddish and Vando who are very often unplayable on offense

It feels a bit silly to say this when we had KCP and Caruso on this team not that long ago. Unfortunately when we do a full recap of this era in a few years, we will be able to say that the Russ trade hovered like a dark cloud above this team.

  2. ehehehuahe

Can we end the Darvin Ham experiment? This roster should not be under .500

  3. this Lebron era has been such a letdown. this franchise has been so incompetent repeatedly on their decisions on putting the right people to help this franchise win. whether its the GM (Rob nepo hire), front office folks (Rambis another nepo hire), the coach (hiring a rookie head coach when we’re in win now mode, firing vogel, not hiring ty lue), the players( players dont fit around bron & AD, still no shooting, westbrook trade) . just an absolute clown show & jeanie’s nepotism crap has been the root of it. i don’t blame Lebron for leaving this summer. we wasted the last good years of a top 2 player of all time with this nonsense. Im grateful we got 1 ring out of it but we should’ve had at least 2-3 with Lebron and AD on this squad. just really fucking disappointed knowing what could’ve been if we had a competent franchise & made the right decisions these last few years.

Ham lost the locker room idk why this organization thinks he can get it back

  5. nerdymen242424

It was a two good game stretch of hope yall

Personally, if I had the best interior defender in the league, I wouldn’t overhelp and give up a bunch of 3s, but I’m not the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers so idk.

Nor would I go away from running offense through AD, especially in the post, where we’ve had not only some of our best offense all season, but even a part of our big 1st quarter this very game, but again, I’m not the Los Angeles Lakers head coach.

I also wouldn’t leave in the same lineup to have its weakness exploited going -10 after 6 minutes to start the 3rd, but I’m really not the Los Angeles Lakers head coach so it is what it is.

  7. WhatTheRickIsDoin

There’s no trade that’s in the realm of possibility that will save this team and Ham should have been fired two weeks ago

  8. Significant_Night_65

we really wasted a 1st round pick on the worst player in the league in a year we are trying to contend

  9. StoneColdAM

A great win followed by an embarrassing loss.

  10. Fcusjfnfmfkg

Darvin Ham is an inspiration to unemployed people everywhere.

  11. QuaxlyDaDon

This team is running out of time as currently constructed. Doesn’t help that the coaching staff is also clueless on what to do.

  12. Ghostbeen3

Lakers were straight trash in the second half. They would’ve lost to the pistons

  13. tokyo_bee

Letting this Nets team score 130 pts is a fireable offense, right?

  14. Winter-Gur-9762

DLO bron and AD combined for 70 tn. They’re not the problem. It’s the role players and bench

  15. Rock_hound15

We just gonna fill our cup up again because that’s a hell of a ballclub over there

  16. rybeegood

Got destroyed by a team that’s been losing every game lately

  17. chrisumafp

I mean the lakers won previous 2 games because the Mavs and Thunder were missing open 3s they normally knockdown

They got fooled into thinking it was a winning strategy. It’s not in 2024

  18. ajsantos21

    Preach Big Game.

“They got their asses handed to them. Embarrassing..”

  19. Odd-Direction9452

We’re looking like frontrunners. Consistently have nothing to give when we get hit in the mouth. Team has a great time when things are going well, but are at a loss when the other team responds. That’s both coaching and personnel.

  20. This team sucks because of the coach.

    He has no game plan.

    No emotion.

Sits on the sidelines chewing gum and rubbing his head.

    It’s pathetic

We did have some bad luck today in the second half but Ham is just horrible.

    Jeanie is a pathetic owner

  21. Mood_Academic

Austin Reaves is not untouchable, for the right price

  22. Rock_hound15

Watch the Nets will lay an egg and forget how to shoot against the Clippers

  23. AccomplishedDig1422

The sole reason we looked this bad was play calling. It’s not like our guys can show up against teams like OKC and the Mavs who are CLEARLY better and then all of a sudden they suck against the nets lmao. 31% organized offense after the first q is INSANE.

Lack of play calling > shit ton of isos and bad shots > nets were just running and getting easy buckets in transition. We did it to them in the first quarter then just stopped. Bad offense led to bad defense. Then we gave up.

It’s not about needing a trade or talent to beat the fucking NETS. This is 100% on Ham.

  24. thekobra32

let’s be real here. A trade will probably breathe some life into this team simply because the team would be injected with new energy because of the new players. But, ultimately, we will still be mid because Darvin Ham is the Head Coach of this team.

  25. Glass-Syllabub-9777

Ham putting it all on the players as usual.
