Let me preface this by saying I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder if the whole point of signing Bruce Brown to that big, albeit 1+1 year contract in the off-season was to make the salaries match for this (or another big) trade. Bruce seemed redundant because we already had Andrew, Ben, and Aaron.
