I don’t even care about the missed FTs at the end of the game. Shotmaking is not his issue, turnovers have been a really serious issue for him, it’s great to see him acknowledge it.

Anyone else feel like we’re on the cusp of another Ant leap?
This is what I wanted to see out of Ant. If he seriously takes this to heart and applies it, he’ll be a much better leader for our team
He’s been saying this for a while I feel like though
This is what I tell myself about my alcoholism. If I had to bet, I’d bet on ANT over myself.
It’s great he recognizes these things right after games and takes ownership of them. It’s also great that he wants so badly to figure it out and plans to.
I just wonder if leaving it all up to him is enough.
>I’m gonna figure out a way to stop turning the bitch over, I promise…
I want to find out that Finch and crew is going to help him figure this out and not just leave it up to him. And if need be, allow someone else to feed him for a while each game and just take the ball out of his isoing hands at times. Let him know that if they see him falling into bad habits they will help by pointing it out and choosing a different route for his role for a small period to help him out of it.
I see these things a little bit like for example a NHL goalie stuck in the rut of dropping to his knees on every single shot coming his way. It can become a rut reaction when there are times it is better that he stays on his skates. But the reaction for whatever reason keeps occuring even though the goalie knows it is a problem. The only thing the Hockey coach can do is swap goalie because there is only one playing. But in Basketball there are so many more options to help a player out of a rutting reactionary and repeating mistakes.
4 years in and he isn’t box office yet. He just throws games against good teams.
He’s got a few years to go. I’m off Ant after tonight. He ain’t gonna lead this team any where soon.
This 22 year old continues to acknowledge his issues and improves. The potential is the best player of all time. I know it sounds stupid, but sweet baby Jesus I believe
I think the teams further than ant in development.. I mean if he was 2-3 years more senior he would be getting 35ppg and 1-2 turnovers at Max per game.right now he probably has 1-2 in 1 min in 4th quarter 😅😅😅 he’ll learn.believe in him!
