Uh yeah I mean the third quarter was obviously I think it was 33 to 21 and in the third quarter game kind of slipped away from us jayen got a couple um he got a couple buckets and then got the crowd into it and then yeah they kind of just went

On a roll from there wer re go did you make yeah man it was it was amazing you know uh it was amazing I said Thank you to the fans for sure um and we we got a tribute video so I didn’t think we were

Going to get that but so no that was cool I very appreciative appreciative of my time here and um yeah to come back had a lot of emotions for sure um but know it was just it was fun to play basketball here again what what were those first few minutes like you guys

Got going yeah we’re hype we’re hype man we’re having fun you know being able to go against playing against your friends is always is always a lot of fun were you surprised about video yeah I was for sure I was but I very thankful yeah I don’t I don’t know I don’t know

Um Julius oh my goodness no but yeah no I I miss how many free thr I miss five six yeah six shees yeah I I gotta go uh practice some free throws for sure uh it was you know it was cool to honestly play against those guys and

Just see what it’s like you know on the other side um I had fun competing and uh yeah looking forward to many more battles look like you guys rebounded tonight what did you see out there yeah uh I mean they’re like a top five offensive rebounding team you know or

Just rebounding team in general so they have a lot of big bodies they go to the glass all the time and um I think in the first half we did a good job of you know turning them over so it kind of we’re kind of able to get out in

Transition um to eliminate some of those second chance points but yeah but then just we got out rebounding tonight so we got to uh make sure we get in practice and and fix that uh it was great um just uh comeb back uh obviously didn’t get

The outcome we wanted I wanted to win but uh just to see everybody uh where I started my professional career is pretty cool just to see all my guys uh Johnny Bryant uh with him every day just to see him you know on the other side I was

Talking trash to him he was talking trash to me but uh pretty cool pretty cool yeah just um probably our intensity wasn’t as high uh coming out in that third quarter and they just kept coming and coming uh and in wav so um credit to them they’re a good team they play well

And we just got to learn from it watch the film and and be better I mean they had a they had I know they had a lot of offensive rebounds 15 offensive rebounds and they felt like probably more um and they just kept getting second shot opportunities

And uh that led to a lot of their points so uh yeah I feel like we’re really talented a group especially offensively um so just trying to get those guys involved early uh let them get a rhythm uh and just really try to go from there because I know when everybody’s touching

The ball they want to defend and rebound and do all the extra stuff it takes to win so uh just trying to you know show a little unselfishness and while also still being aggressive at the same time so com together can you like Forge that

Bond Rush that Bond or does it just time no it definitely takes time uh it’s like having uh meeting a new girl you can’t just you know you got to take time to get to know her take time you got to take her out to eat stuff like that yeah

Like you ain’t you ain’t just G to walk up to her say let’s get married so like uh but n um it’ll take yeah that didn’t work I know it didn’t ain’t no way uh but n just uh it’ll come together um um R wasn’t building a day and we have to

Keep working individually and as a team we have to continue to try to take steps and um if we if you just keep chopping wood and K why do you get there I mean I’ve been tripped the whole day since since the Scout report since I

Seen Nicks I’m like wait what it just like the whole day was just a little different for me but um you know good to see my friends obviously wanted to win but um Good Luck to all of them well um just like you said u i I got definitely watch

The film to really see what happened there but just like a sense of urgency uh and uh and uh Focus was not there that lead it to to couple of mistakes that quickly lead it into their uh points and transition and just like opening Lanes on on defensive end uh um

We made them commit 22 turnovers and this scored out of that 29 Points but other than that in a half court you know we got really really uh um outplayed with with Second Chance points and offensive rebounding they ended up having 15 offensive uh rebounds and

That’s not on one player that’s on the whole team to do better job uh rebounding there um and I thought that ball movement stopped in the second half that was that was pretty good in in the first half tough for Scot I4 for the floor um was anything that Nicks were

Scheming that was a problem for him or was he just kind of not able to find his usual spots I thought I thought that he was getting good looks uh missed three threes he was getting to his SPS on the floor uh they brought definitely a lot

Of physicality uh um you know at at The Rim that uh he he did not convert at The Rim at the same time he did not go to the free throw line and us as a team we we missed 10 free throws tonight um which is it’s it’s hard to miss 10 free

Throws and to to beat anybody in NBA I I need to to double check I do not have information at this point um between the physicality and thee sort of seemed like the group lost it’s I don’t know you said they were a b they looked

A bit flat and eni is that disappointing given you said MSG is you know usually brings up the I mean I thought we had in the in the first half uh I really don’t know what happened there in the third quarter for us to to Lo lose that

Momentum uh but it is disappointing uh I mean uh um I just told guys in the locker room we have uh a couple of new players over here everybody’s kind of like walking on eggshells they don’t know how to communicate with each other like we got to lift each other you know

Jon Porter played his game number four as NBA player of course he’s going to make mistakes you know but uh are we going to be you know go out of conference zone and actually pick him up and talk to him and help him out so he

He he learns and he gets better for the next game and the same thing goes to to a lot of players over here they have very very different roles that that’s one thing that that that’s one thing that I really um you know I think that

We could do better job players in the court really lifting each other
