He’s talking about a foul on the floor before the shot, right? Seems like everyone here is somehow thinking he meant *during* the shot. And he’s got a point – if they foul him with 2 seconds to go on the floor, they have to pass in and just jack up a shot.
Denver did a great job of forcing Tatum into rushed terrible shots the last 2 minutes of the game. He was smothered. The plays in crunch time can’t be all solo ball. Force the foul or move the ball.
