What’s going on guys back with another Wizards video and today I’m gonna be talking about Marvin bagley’s debut against the New York Knicks the other day now I was impressed in totality I was impressed with um what he was able to do he finished a game with 20 points 11

Rebounds so a double double in his debut two assists two steals three blocks um and a plus two net rating only real big negative is obviously the free throw um attempts he was 0 for fire from the LI he could have had a 25 and 11 debut if

He hit all five of those but I digress um what I seen from Marvin baggley in that game against the New York lcks obviously the Wizards lost that’s nothing new 7 and 33 on the season but that’s not the point we now looking at W’s in these games um one of

The more impressive things that I’ve seen from Marvin Bagley in that game not even just looking at strictly how he played is you know sometimes when you if you want to compare him to Daniel gaffer right the Wizard’s current starter who was out in this

Game um the biggest thing I want to say is the endurance I was impressed with that he came first game starting played the whole first quarter played the whole third quarter played 39 minutes total tied for the most minutes played in totality with K kosma and he didn’t look

Tired the man didn’t look tired I know sometimes with d gaffer people have talked about his endurance for a while when he got traded to the Wizards originally um that’s why Scotty Brooks didn’t play him as much as Wizards fans had liked because he was saying his endurance wasn’t that good and wizards

Fans have said stuff about Daniel gaffer’s Endor in the past but for Marvin Bagley to just come in day one starting right out the gate to bust out 39 minutes and not really look tired as impressive so the endurance was one thing that really stuck out to me um

Outside of just his play um obviously he did a really good job um in the pick and roll game we saw early uh pick and roll some pick and roll play with Jordan pool where he slipped the screen got it up over for the dunk over

Um ogan anobi which was nice to see um he got some putbacks offensive putbacks so he was aggressive on the boards he had six offensive rebounds that was really impressive which led to some easy putb layups um early on he missed some easy couple he he missed some Easy Shot

Around the basket early on so I know that kind of worried the Wizards fans a little bit early on but as the game continued he settled in he was aggressive he looked athletic um he got a couple blocks on Julius Randall I know one of them was later on in the game

Where he was Julius Rand was backing down balow kabali and on the help defense um Marvin timed it up well blocked the shot so that that’s it all in all it was a really good debut from him um he has the opportunity and I said this before he’s going to have the

Opportunity to get some real minutes here in DC because the Wizards have a glaring hole at the Five Spot um whether it be at the starting position if you don’t like gaffer that much or if he possibly gets traded but definitely at the backup spot you know um previously

Having Daniel I mean galinari there and Danilo galinari and Mike mcalla there so Marvin baggley younger obviously talented shot over 60% from the field um it was a good game it was a good game he shows some things like I said offensively in the pick and roll game he

Shows some things defensively obviously getting the double double out the gate is really nice to see because Daniel Gafford will have double doubles here and there but sometimes he’ll be a little non-existent on the boards so against the team like the Knicks who we all know is a good rebounding team as we

Seen with hardenstein who has 17 rebounds himself um it’s nice to see Guy like Marvin Bagley get down there getting the gritty get six offensive rebounds for the squad and end up being one of what three Wizards who had a plus net rating on the night um so I’m not

Going to keep this video too long I just really wanted to talk about Marvin baggley and his uh debut all in all thumbs up I was impressed uh as Paul Pierce said man you know we’re just getting little bit we just getting a little taste of him man I

Want the whole load you know I want the whole load so hopefully we continue to see more Marvin baggley um hopefully I don’t know if he gets another start against the Spurs we’ll see um got Victor wanyama coming into town uh so that’s going to be a difficult match up that’s a difficult

Match up for anybody right now he’s been playing really well um also shout out to tyus Jones career high 15 assist just to throw him in there uh we want one to two first round picks for my guy or else we just going to resign him you shout out
