Jaylen Brown & Kristaps Porzingis REACT to Celtics Win vs Rockets | Postgame Interview
The the night offensively get going yeah I think we just um um each night it can it can be a different guy that has a good game and and we have the trust in each other that uh we’re willing to sacrifice hey let’s get this guy the ball he’s he’s having a
Good night and and tonight it was my night and and you know got a couple passes from JB late uh and just capitalized to took advantage of the mismatch Jaylen what kind of curveball is it and how nice is it to have have christops this year something you guys
Haven’t had in the past um big Difference Maker you know when teams start switching us um they try to slow our offense down U we can always just go in find KP on those mid post isolations and he’s he’s great in those areas so um going forward and getting ready for
Postseason and stuff that we want to continue to to sharpen up but we got all the trust in the world and tonight wanted to keep finding them the big fellow got going tonight so um helped us was win this game trip to O at the end there did you
Know that you were at n assist at that point what kind of happened there yeah I feel like I had some that didn’t get registered so I think maybe um I want to see if some of you guys can double check cuz I made some passes and and or whatever
But and yeah I I was aware of my teammates kind of let me know um they were trying to help me out so I appreciate it not all the time you get to have moments like that um for sure so I appreciate my teammates for knocking
Down shots but also helping to get it at the end and a few years ago I remember you talked after your first triple double just how much just one them to you in terms of becoming a playmaker and everything I guess does it feel a little different now if your career triple
Double and I guess how’s that maybe Testament to you as kind of a playmaker now in that growth yeah just you know being able to make the right plays see the game each night is going to be a different night you know we got a good
Team um which doesn’t require me to uh score the ball um he prises you to be a basketball player so um tonight you know they were overaggressive helping at The Rim um and we had kickouts and wide open shots all night so just keep making the right play over and over again and
That’s what it’s about I think to add to that like it speaks about his like leadership too he doesn’t he know he understands he doesn’t need to score 30 every night and he can be this he can have this kind of night where maybe he’s not making all
The shots but he’s just making those passes and making those reads for for the teammates and that us as a group that’s Chain Reaction the first play you tried to do off the backboard yeah yeah it looked great in my head I’ve seen it I was you know
Worked on it a little bit and I just didn’t have the legs tonight my legs was cooked so it look great up here though but not so much in real life well e said he was going to be more the defense going to be more physical than last week he thought you guys
Cut you and Jason L what you want last week how was their defense how physical was it what was the difference yeah they definitely I mean in the first half it was kind of it was normal but in the second half you could definitely tell it upped the physicality and the Reps Let
It Go a lot so um you know those guys are young those guys are hungry those guys are learning how to play in defense is definitely something that is important if you want to win so you know they’re building good habits and they’re trying to build like some chemistry and
For them to kind of you know get going as a young team and it’s tough because you got some talented guys over there and they’re kind of figuring it out um and and that’s what it’s about man you know the key for them over there is just
To continue to be unselfish um and I think they’re they’re learning you know about how to do that and win and add to winning um because if you win everybody’s going to be happy but they’re still figuring that out I guess Joe kind of credited the bench tonight
Luke Pon all those guys they do all the dirty work I guess how do they kind of set the tone for you maybe especially on offensive last year too yeah I think uh early on we did have our best energy uh it was kind of our talent that was you
Know having us that lead and I think that’s one thing that Joe is always emphasizing you know that that no matter if we’re the most talented team in the world we have to play hard and we have to you know show up on every possession
And that’s what he was trying to get out of us and and I think that’s why he did the those subs you know and then we kind of that that second unit you know Sam bton they came in with great energy give us a spark and and
Um and that was it that kind of changed a little bit of the momentum of the game went into the halftime of 15 and and and and still this is this is a good game for us to um to understand that we need to bring that energy every every moment
You know if not there’s going to be another guy that’s going to come in and bring it but but uh we need as many people as we can every night Jaylen what’s passing an emphasis for you coming into this game when we talked to Joe you mentioned that there were some
Direct improvements from last game to what you’re seeing did you see the floor differently tonight um yeah I mean every game is different you know um one you teams guard teams have different schemes um they’re like a a team that likes to switch they’re a team that likes to you
Know uh be physical so it changes the read um so tonight I just wanted to be aggressive but if I got to the paint I knew they were all coming in I had a big game against them I think the last couple times I played against Houston
I’ve had 30 plus points whatever so I know they they thinking about that um so anytime I drove the ball there was a little bit of help and I was just making the right pass over and over again and U I think that helped us get a win and
Christops you ever tell Derek to lay off the blocks I mean let him know that’s kind of your territory I try but he keeps stealing some of those you know but I have to admit DWI is really smart which you guys already know that but um he gets a lot
Of like sneaky blocks you know and and uh tonight he got another one at half time um but uh but D white is U how you say like unvaluable for us no he’s he’s such an important player and such a smart player um that he’s just uh I think still underrated in many
Ways and then just navigating the stretch of games and people sitting out different people how are those conversations and how have you guys planned for those kind of things I think it’s tough part of the Season tough stretch mentally and physically you know this is
T where you just got to grind and and find that motivation to get up and play be focused and be locked in it’s just a constant battle um with yourself but also to get our guys just going each and every night um we got to just find the
Energy um to to give each other energy to come out and play our best version of basketball and it’s that time of the year where you can see teams either lock in and continue to tr towards uh some type of goal and some teams kind of
Trail off and um if we say we want to you know play deep into the post season then you know we’re going to have to lock in for moments like this this little stretch of the season I think it’ll be big for us you said to see
Grant tomorrow uh you know not really but uh I love Grant um so I’m sure he’ll be you know ready to have a um an annoying game um but we just got to come out and uh just be the best version of ourselves

I really want to see them locked in
We gotta figure out how to get Tatum open his handles looking slower
If Kristaps Porzingis stay healthy this season & consistent 2024 playoffs Boston big chance get #18 banner 💪💪💪
Jaylen Brown ENTER his 1st YEARS PRIMES 💪🔥💪
Love seeing these two doing an interview together. I was thrilled with Brown's game, tonight – shot just was not falling, but instead of checking out, he dug in on defense, worked the boards, and made plays for other guys. The perfect response for those nights the rim wont cooperate. I also love that KP has the exact same energy whether he's scoring 30 or 7, really seems to embrace the 'success looks different every night' mantra.
Was a dreadful game by the C's, nice that they managed a win, anyway.
Not Jaylen brown worried about Grant lmao
Grant rly left the Celtics for a bigger role just to end up with the same role he had on the Celtics, only thing different is he’s on a way worse team but getting more money
This would give the celts what they need too close the deal. Since coach Pop has given away so much talent , let's add one more to the list . Payton.P. + Kornet for Vassel.
It’s so interesting how Jaylen and Kristas are such good friends. It goes to show chemistry is just random sometimes
