[Stein] Philadelphia swingman K.J. Martin has been made available in advance of the trade deadline. Martin is well regarded in Philly but has inevitably struggled for playing time on a veteran-laden team. Word is that the 76ers are looking for a quality second-round pick in a potential deal.

Feel like he’s gonna be a sweetener in whatever larger deal Morey pursues. good 2nd round pick sounds like fair value, he had flashes in Houston and his deal with the clippers was considered a steal (Lowe was hyping him up as an underrated guy to crack the starting lineup before the harden trade). Just hasn’t gotten any opportunity here.

I feel like the Nets probably value him the most mainly for sentimental value, but also they need any young guy they can get their hands on. Probably a throw in any DFS or Royce deal

How does an expiring 1.9m contract have that much value? Teams can sign Martin in free agency this summer right?

Who would people in this sub rather keep: Springer or Martin?
