My guess is that Simmons returns after the All-Star break, plays basically the same as he did last year, and then gets cut in the offseason when no one will take on his contract without getting significant assets in return.

I’m willing to bet anyone on here at least $100, that this piece of shit doesn’t play 10 more games this year, for those keeping track he’s only played 6 this season, after declaring himself “healthy” this summer. That would put his total games played this year at around 15-16 or less than 20%. For more context he’s played in 42 of over 150 available games. This is an all time terrible trade Harden for Simmons, Curry and Drummond (neither of which moved the needle, nor did we get any assets for) and 2 shitty firsts, oh and the second one might not convey because it’s protected. We literally couldn’t trade this piece of shit if we attached that Philly 1st most likely. Just incompetence by Marks

I don’t know why anyone would be eager for him to return. I know he has only played 48 games in his Nets tenure but how could you forget the awful spacing he provides when he shares the floor with Clax? With Cam Johnson not being a knock down shooter and you have Mikal horrendous handles, pray for Cam Thomas he’s gonna be seeing 3 bodies whenever he has the ball…yikes!
