Weak response when the issue tonight was clearly a lack of effort.
Schroeder, Brown, Gary, Boucher all “vets” took the night off. Not boxing out, not tracking their man off ball, jogging back on transition, giving up on the play literally with half the clock remaining. Watching them off-ball tonight was disgusting.
Watching Scottie hustle to block JJJ and then Trent literally standing there doing nothing while watching JJJ get the block and easy layup was just mind boggling.
Watching Schroeder decide to hero ball, get blocked, and then take the next possession off while laying on the floor. Apparently this guy said he’s suppose to be a leader and a vet? He only seems to want to do it when it’s easy.
Scottie only got engaged when he started getting angry about calls. He’s getting schtick for not trying on D sometimes but that’s unfair, he’s got crazy minutes and being asked to do a lot. Respect to Thad and RJ, at least they tried.
With all trades about to happen next 2 weeks, feels like another training camp coming
