The truth about AJ’s benching is that he’s been trash. Unplayable in summer league, unplayable in preseason, moves like a headless chicken everytime he touches the ball. Yall need to give it up, he’s not good.

I don’t think AJ’s benching has anything to do with his family’s ongoing situation tbh. Was AJ away because that was becoming internally too much? Thats likely. But I highly doubt the FO is like you’re mot playing because your nephews death was suspicious. To be quite frank…I think AJ is a shell of himself, he’s probably still not mentally right. Better to observe than be out there with your mind somewhere else.

This story has nothing to do with AJ Griffin. AJ’s nephew died at Adrian Griffin Sr.’s house and AJ wasn’t even in the same state at the time. AJ is dealing with mental health things but there’s no reason to imply AJ had anything to do with this situation.

So basically here’s what’s going on with this: The death was investigated and ruled the child died from natural causes. The coroner and doctors told the mother he had fluid in his lungs. And there’s report of the boy going to a doctor. The mother, Jasmine Riggs, doesn’t believe it. She claims he was healthy and wants it investigated. For the past few months she’s been making FB post accusing the Griffins. But the autopsy just doesn’t back up her accusations. Adrian Griffin was the one who called to tell her her son died.
