I wish I could double upvote this.

I wish I can personally deliver this and watch all the owners read this.

There’s literally no one better right now. I don’t like it either but it seems inevitable and all we can do is wait and see. I just hope they don’t give him a multi year deal just in case it doesn’t work.

  3. Probably but Griffin was an even bigger mistake

“That means, if the Bucks hire Rivers, they would have passed up Nick Nurse to hire his assistant, who they just fired 43 games into his coaching career, only to then turn to the guy Nurse has successfully replaced in Philly.”

Yeah, I get it. I don’t like Doc either. But who is a better choice 43 damn games into a win-or-bust season after our last coach was over his head? NO to bud, he won his title but we were all sick of his shit those other 4 years… Stotts? Dantoni? Joerger? Atkinson? None of these are very appealing… We sure as hell aren’t taking a chance on another rookie coach. Seriously, we never should have hired Griff in the first place. (Look at the jets with AR to see why players should have no say on coaches…) We’re in a really bad spot now… We have very few options… WHO DO WE HIRE INSTEAD?

This is ridiculous. When the Bucks lost a third game in Brooklyn, the sixers had already given up a 3-1 lead and choked in the second round against the hawks. I made a post on here saying “At least we don’t have Doc Rivers”, and I assumed that was that. Now we have these reports that he’s our head coach. Why didn’t we just hire Nurse in the first place? This is already a terrible situation, and now we’re stuck with leftover losers for coaches. Horst made the right call by firing Griffin, I’ll give him that. But he shit the bed on the griffin hire in the first place. This is going to be tough to build back from.
