Seatman uh on today’s show we’re going to be looking at what I think a perfect NBA trade deadline could look for the Chicago Bulls obviously they are at the center of a lot of these NBA trade rumors with guys like LaVine Caruso you know D rozan vu all kind of on the trade

Block so I’m going to go through it all and give you guys a five-step plan of what I think a perfect trade deadline could look like for Chicago and number one you guys probably knew where I was going with this trading Zack ofine I think if there’s anything the Bulls have

To do if you know scratch all scratch the rest four of these on this list if you can only get one thing done it would be moving off Zack oine and for right reason his contract is absolutely ridiculous um you know him making know over $40 million a year over the next

Four years I just think is a bad deal honestly heading into the year my thought on LaVine was that you know he is a you know let’s just say A you know he could be a second or third option if you do have a true number one and I

Think a second or third option could go for 40 million a year but honestly I don’t even know if he is that just yet so I think my number one choice would be to move off LaVine mainly just to be able to get off that contract he hasn’t

Been you know taking that steps as a leader he hasn’t taken that steps as also a Defender that I would have liked him you know to grow as and you know frankly I just don’t think he is right for Chicago we’ve heard the beef with him Billy Donovan as well you know that

He got benched after that Charlotte Hornets game and LaVine really wasn’t over it I’m not saying he’s gotten to a point where he’s a cancer in the locker room but I just think the Bulls will be fully off a better team if they do move

Off him and this is the trade idea I cooked up we’ve heard the rumors around dejonte Murray that the Atlanta Hawks want to move off him so I said this what if the Hawks trade for Zack oen and get a 2026 second round pick they could maybe want a protected first round pick

But then the Bulls be getting back to Jon Murray and bdon bogdanovich and this would be a trade I would absolutely love for Chicago I’m a big fan of Murray’s game kind of that two-way Elite big siiz point guard who can playmake he’s been able to knock down the three-point ball

Very very well this year I’m a big fan of Murray also bdan bogdanovich big fan of his game I always call him a professional scorer at the NBA level and he’s just you know he’s been that throughout his NBA career but kind of gets me to this point I think the Bulls

Need to move LaVine at any cost no matter what it takes whether the Bulls even if you are just getting a second round pick back for Lavina I know a lot of you guys may be like no way why would we just take a second back for LaVine it

Would be the biggest add addition by subtraction trade the Bulls can make would just be moving off him for no matter what it is get rid of that contract get some better Vibes in the organization number one for me trading Zack ofine you could somehow swing de

Jon Murray sign me up any day of the week but number two another guy I want to get rid of Nicole vich and frankly I’m just done watching him play basketball uh no doubt he is a very talented offensive player you know you can’t really take that away from him but

The thing with v is like he is such a Negative Defender that I think overall in the basketball court he is almost a net negative so I think number two for me traded Nicole vuvi and this was the trade idea I cooked up and I absolutely

Love this one as well if you could pull up those two trades the Deon Murray one and then this one of the Robert Williams signed me up but the trade idea I cooked up will be the Bulls also getting a first round pick from Portland that is

Top eight protected also Moses Brown and Robert Williams in this deal you get to add more size to this Bulls team which I do think is necessary they are a pretty you know overall roster they are a smaller team you know with not any not a

Lot of true fours on this roster but I’d be all in I’m getting a guy like Robert Williams and obviously you’re moving off Vu which I think would be a huge addition I’m a big fan of Robert williams’ game he is that prototypical I am going to catch lobs and I’m going to

Protect the rim and I think in the modern day game I would prefer a center like that uh any day of the week obviously if you you know if you play the game like joic and MB do I like that style of Center but overall Robert Williams I think you

Know in a vacuum like if V and Robert Williams played one-on-one V would beat him 100 times out of a 100 but on the basketball court I would prefer a guy like Robert Williams at my Center position rather than a guy like Nicole vuich mainly just cuz what he brings on

The defensive side of floor and just to have that ability when you’re coming off a pick and roll as a guard you can either attack the ring get to your pullup midy or you can throw that lob to uh big old Robert Williams over the top

I would like that move little kick uh quick little key note here Robert Williams is out for the remainder of the season so I do think maybe the Bulls could also Swoop a first round pick from Portland that would obviously be pretty heavily protected but I think Portland

Might do it to get V and Aon kind of be the front Court uh that they could build around kind of help develop Simons you know shayen sharp and Scoot Henderson uh there in Portland but that trade I would absolutely do it but number three for me

And this is uh you know I said we were going to talk about the big three and that’s what we’re doing so number three is demard De rzan and I absolutely love demard rzan what is done for the Chicago Bulls in his uh tenure here is just

Something I just want to kind of give him Miss Flowers because he was a great leader great locker room guy honestly a just great overall Mentor for some of these younger guards we’ve had on this team like Kobe white and I dumo but the Bulls got a decision to make dear he’s

On expiring deal you either got to decide to extend or trade him at the deadline or else you’re going to let him walk for nothing but let’s just say you’re like Bulls we’re not extending him we need to move him these are the top three teams they think could be

Calling for dear rozan the New York the Knicks just lack a secondary ball handler in that back court um dear would probably come off the bench there but I think you would be a good fit Tom Tibido you know shout out Tom Tibido is a big

Fan of demaro rosen’s game so that would be an interesting one the Miami Heat you know they just traded for Terry Rosier but maybe they just want another score they could bring off the bench because the heat have gotten to the NBA finals but theyve just lacked you know that

Tertiary fourth option to be there you know to deliver big buckets in the biggest moments and also the Lakers I think the Lakers you know I was watching the Lakers play the Clippers last night they are a pretty weird basketball team they got a lot of talent but it’s not

Just uh jelling too too well so you know I would consider the Lakers as another D rozan option but if you could somehow get a first round pick for either of these guys if you aren’t planning on bringing back tomorrow and extending him again make that deal get young draft or

Grant he’s just an underrated basketball player I think when he signed that contract last free agency a lot of people said oh he’s overpaid why would Portland do it well you know a guy like Jeremy Grant you talk to these other NBA GMS out there like you know you know

That kind of archetype of that big Wing that can guard one through four can put the ball on the deck can knock down the three-point ball in wide open Catch and shoot opportunities like Jeremy Grant is that guy and I think he would almost off

Er a great ying and yang next to a guy like Patrick Williams where Patrick Williams is more the you know defensive-minded kind of wing forward who still has the catch and shoot three-point ability where Jeremy Grant is that offensive minded you know big forward in the NBA you play them at the

Three and the four I think it could cause a lot of problems for other teams not just defensively but also offensively just to have that consistent Rim pressure I would be absolutely in on trading for Jeremy Grant how a trade would look not too sure but overall

Jeremy Grant sign me up any day of the week if he wants to come to Chicago number five for me let the kids develop and this kind of ties into everything here is you know let’s just say the balls do move off of V they move off Vu

And they move off the r rozen it’s complete fire sale I understand people would be panicking in Chicago people would be like oh we’re going to win you know 10 games for the next 5 years and I hear what you’re saying but the thing is like if you would make all those moves

Right there you would allow the development of three specific players that I want to talk about that will be Patrick Williams I dumo and Kobe White and again with the bullish trade deadline I think a lot of people will freak out if the Bulls do move off all

Of these guys but you would allow these three to develop could you imagine if Patrick Williams instead of getting the eight nine 10 shots a game that he’s getting if he’s somehow getting 12 to 15 iow dumo and him instead of him playing 20 minutes a game what if he’s playing

30 Kobe white what if you just fully run the offense through him see if he can kind of you know keep on developing his game I would be all in on this I think that’s the kind of the the more I I want to say secret of the bow trade deadline

If they would move off these guys I think the biggest addition and the biggest positive that would be you know an outcome would be these three guys you would be able to really get a you know a better view on what they could be in the

NBA so I would absolutely be all in on uh you know you know letting these guys cook if you do trade you know the big three at the deadline but this is my perfect trade deadline plan I want you guys to grade it for me down in the
