Media knew exactly what they were doing voting Trae 6 to ensure he doesn’t make starter. I knew Traes only hope would be to get top 5 in media or player voting to beat out lillard and of course he gets 6th for both.

I don’t understand why players consistently vote Trae that low

It’s easy to dismiss the media in terms of their opinions. I’m stumped as to why other NBA players don’t really respect Trae like that, as they should be actually intelligent. This combined with coaches not liking Trae really makes me question how good he actually is. Is it just cause they don’t respect Trae’s foul baiting? Then why vote Dame? Is it cause they see him as too inefficient? Again can’t the same be said for Dame? Is Trae just not charismatic enough?

Shaq was 100% the media vote. Just heard him complain how records should matter and back in the day fans voted in who they wanted.
He was never getting the starter tag over Hali and Brunson. Dame shouldn’t even be a starter, Brunson or Maxey should’ve gotten it over him.
So this means he made it right
At least he is making the All-Star. I think that tie-breaks are decided by the fan vote, and Trae definitely beat Mitchell on that one
