Chris just a a tense finish there but how how did you see that whole fourth quarter play out you know uh first of all good win by our gutsy win it was I mean our it’s it was phen our defense was phenomenal it was good to see that

Back all game long really um and I thought for most of the game we played really well offensively but you know this is our fourth quarters of late we just turned it over at a high volume and that was eight turnovers in the fourth quarter and they they came in pretty

Typical ways you know and then when you put some iffy shot selection on top of it um that’s why things are snowballing against us and uh We’ve we’ve got to fix that or we’re not going to be able to take the next step as a as a team so

Seemed like when everyone was missing shots Carl came up with some big offense and then the lob to Rudy just how did you see him take control yeah I mean we missed the lob the Rudy on one before I thought it was like the right play just

Uh you know the pass was a little bit of Target um and you know they’ve got a great connection and keeps growing and growing and we just needed something easy at that point in time it was pretty physical out there there you know there was a lot of holding going on and we

Just had a hard time separating um you know then then um you cat had the the the the the drive or whatever when he gets fouled and you we just needed he had a very good game tonight and um you I thought for the most part uh you know

I was trying to go to him I didn’t think that there was a great matchup for him out there um you know and then they started you know wrestling and all that kind of stuff so probably bogged us down a little bit but um you know yeah he he

Came out huge when we needed him and what was the difference defensively that did allow you to to kind of close this one out where you hadn’t been I mean they you know we held him 30% from the three-point line um you I thought you

Know we I thought we were into him ball pressure just relentless on her Pursuit uh fought through all the you know screens uh Rudy was huge at the at the bottom of the defense for us and and we rebounded extremely well you know so what were we doing Maybe better earlier

In the season when it comes to fourth quarter execution that’s not I mean we weren’t turning it over in the fourth quarter at this rate you know I think that and you know we were finding the open man we we had more movement we were more execution um you know we were finding

Open guys um you know right now we’re we’re just too much ISO ball at at times and too too stagnant um you know and that that’s on me as much as on anybody else but um we need to use those situations to create gravity and then

Move off of it and and you know when they put two on the ball so were those two an shots kind of what you’re talking about when it comes to the the the iso yeah I mean absolutely yeah yeah that you were kind of talking about the

The crunch time defense before the game tonight um did you sense whether it was extra effort motivation anything along those lines or was it a point of emphasis like in huddles to say hey we haven’t been good on this end of the floor at this moment in the game let’s

Change that no I mean no I didn’t didn’t think that was necessary to I feel I just you know we kind of talked about the that the things we were trying to accomplish in timeouts like what we wanted to do defensively what we over the points of emphasis were you know

Keep guarding a three-point line um you know be really clean on our switches uh that type of stuff but you know there was a sense of you know defense throughout the whole game that you know I didn’t have to kind of you know rally them to play defense

That at least maybe fit into the the kind of mindset for all the offensive troubles the defense back to back um and you still come out here with the win kind of on the back of your defense down down the stretch yeah absolutely I mean

That’s who we’ve been and um you know we uh that’s that’s who we’ve been that’s who we have to be and you know the offense will come and go and you know the defense has to be there every single night Chris what did you see like Jaden rebounding especially in the first half

Seemed like give you a little lift too with with his active defense yeah I mean I thought he was really really good tonight you know battle Bridges everywhere um again you know he got clipped off by a lot of tough screens um kept coming kept coming um you know

Really good really good uh effort by him it was good to see cuz um you know our ball pressure was huge by him um and that’s when he’s like that it’s it’s a big tone Setter for us coach coach just talk a little bit about had the big lead and they almost

Came back what was happening during that time uh yeah eight turnovers in the fourth um just uh you know we we took the big lead come out of a timeout we turn it over right away uh that gave him a you know a chance to slice into it

Then the next possession we turn it over again so not only did we turn it over eight time we turned it over in bunches which is you know the worst thing you can do um and then uh you know I just tried to bail ourselves out with a bunch

Of tough shots um which you know I thought for the most part all all game we were getting getting good shots uh and you know we passed up I thought some good good looks catch and shoot threes that we then turned down and and tried to bounce it and go somewhere and and

Take tough ones so can you just talk uh just about the play that gave you the lead at the end the alley um that’s something they those two guys have been working on uh yeah I mean they have a really good connection they’ve had a great connection since ever since Rudy

Arrived I mean Pat cat is a phenomenal passer he’s got good Court Vision nice touch you know they missed that play a couple plays earlier uh very similar um you know he hasn’t he has a look for you know he looks for them naturally and you

Know Rudy did a heck of a job cuz that pass was a little bit off Target um but he has got a big catch area and he was able to to Corral it and slam it home so
