Ya if he has the same stats and is on the magic then he’s all star

  2. Nervous-Astronaut244

Scottie is > Paolo and Paolo will probably be an all star this year so i think so.

  3. LegendKingX

Yes absolutely don’t worry Scottie will be an all star soon enough

  4. King_ofCanada

Raps fans – in the same convo – do you think Randle gets in again? I think he deserves it.

I think recency has affected his claim. If he was playing the same way he was before the trade, absolutely. He’s been pretty lackluster since then (at least as far as shooting numbers go), which is kind of expected with the shake-up in the team’s direction. Hopefully he picks it up and can shoot for All-NBA baby!

  6. midnightmunchiez

He’d be an all star if he was on an American team.

  7. mxgicjohnson

    Yeah. It’s pretty ridiculous

We can only pray Randle or Paolo get snubbed really really hard. If there’s an injury reserve spot then he will get it.

  8. Pixilatedlemon

He would be an all star if we voted for him

  9. I would say Paolo is also the more popular player and recency bias will play a factor. I do think Scottie deserves to be an all star this season though.

He’d be an all star if people voted for him.

    Canada has one team.

An entire country failed this man.

  11. MegaMaax

Yeah raptors players get zero recognition. Everybody is hyping up pascal now that he’s in Indiana but when he was a raptor he was always called overrated and got slandered by NBA fans. 🤦‍♂️

  12. motherseffinjones

I think he would but unfortunately I think the coaches take how good a team is into consideration when voting

  13. Stillwiththe

Yeah he’s better than Paolo but if it’s between the two Paolo gets it because he’s been a #1 and they’ve been better

  14. plugged97

Yes. Similar situation as to why Jalen Brunson is considered an all star lock, yet Tyrese Maxey might miss out despite having almost identical numbers. Big difference between being ‘the man’ in New York versus Embiid’s sidekick

  15. rebay1607

Why are we comparing a third year player to a second year player? We should be comparing second year Barnes to second year Paolo – this is a really misleading graphic imo

  16. Right-Beautiful7631

I feel like he has enough respect around the league that he could be voted in by coaches still

  17. CanadianGroose

If the raptors were in 8th instead of 12th, I think so yeah.

  18. gamer-at-heart-23

Most definitely, NBA doesn’t say it but they do it based more on team record. You should see some stars who didn’t make the all-star team cause their team wasnt good. Examples are young, Lillard, Booker, Beal, etc. Beal avged 30ppg one year and absolutely got robbed

  19. guffzillar

If you are being fair, would he average those numbers on a better team

  20. Massive_Secretary658

He needs to get that ppg up a bit

  21. pakattack91

Crazy how much Scottie blows him out in advance stats…which is not a knock on Banchero but how special Scottie is

  22. Guyanese_boi81492

Scottie needs to be consistent first before he gets all star nod…

  23. Of course. If he was on a team with solid role players and good spacers there’s no question.

  24. BurzyGuerrero

Scottie is the #1, he doesn’t get the “better team” excuse.

If Scotties team was better, he would be an all star because Canada would vote for him.

Scottie is not a star Canada-wide yet. He’s just a guy who hasn’t had success.

Get into the playoffs and Canada will support him.

  25. CodFederal4769

But, would Scottie have the same stats if he was on a team like Boston, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Denver, 76ers, Clipper etc? I think his stats would be a lot lower. And he would be the 2nd or 3rd best player on all these teams.

  26. TurboByte24

Better team? Raptors is a Canada team and only half a million voted for him.
