1 game from .500, worried or not?

Finally got the national media coverage we’ve been looking for…

Now I understand we’re young but last year after we went 5-20 and got healthy we were .500. Considering we might be .500 next game should we be worried about a lack of improvement? Seems like some guys took a minor step forwards but others took a major one back

I haven’t been keeping up too much with the magic tbh but I feel like when the season first started they were draining 3s and having better looks. It seems like they’ve been bricking their 3s for the most part during clutch moments such as last night and more lethargic lately. Which crazy to think about because I feel like Banchero and Franz really stepped it up if, you were to compare them to the start of the season. Anyway, this is all just personal opinion.

The seasons are long, most Superstars in the League have figured this out and that’s why they team-up with others who can “lighten the load” until the Playoffs roll around..

We have shown how good we can be with Franz and Paolo, but the supporting class is not built to win games consistently to take the pressure off our 2 “stars” so we are naturally seeing the team battle the rigours of night in night out adversity…

The FO is hopefully working towards getting the type of talent around Franz and Paolo who can carry us through tough stretches.. Or at least trying to find ways around our consistent injuries to key personnel…

To be honest this has been a tough month and we knew it would be. I’m starting to get a little frustrated. Wouldn’t say worried.

  4. There needs to be a move at trade deadline – Tyus Jones, Dejounte Murray, Malcolm Brogdon – any capable guard that can shoot. What is the current plan? Just wait and draft another 2 non-shooters in the draft the maaay be capable players in 4-5 years? I’m not saying spend big right now, I’m saying spend at least something. This roster needs improvement

Presuming we do nothing before the deadline: I expect we’ll get better but I don’t think it’ll be enough for a playoff spot. If it’s close in the standings near the end of the season, I fancy most other teams over us.

Even if we can snag 7th or 8th, I expect we’ll be knocked out of the play-in. Our offence is just too atrocious to beat any team also fighting for their lives.
