Super hyped player coming in. Lived up to early expectations but did not really improve overall. Reached his ceiling.
Since then he sat out a year cause he was beefing with his previous team (Philly) and wanted to be traded. Since being traded only has played like 80 games. But, it’s cause he has seemingly chronic back injuries. Whereas in Philly he was saying he was not mentally equipped to play basketball currently.
So the running social media joke/narrative is he hates basketball and just wants to get paid and fakes his injury. The reality is he just has chronic back problems and his career is falling apart because of it.
